"Why is there no class-action lawsuit yet?"
One star only because zero was not possible. So very shady - as an existing client, back in March '22, I, and I suppose everyone? received a "pop-up" on the register requiring my cashier to agree to their new terms of service. Plus, even if the pop-up wasn't clicked, simply continuing to use the system was a de facto contractual agreement. What's in that agreement, on page 11? A new three-year contract with full payment required if cancelled. No notice, no acknowledgment of agreement. Nothing. I only found out when I went to cancel the service and now am on the hook for thousands of $$. Please everyone, let me know where to sign up for the class-action lawsuit.

"Do not use Revel POS or their Adyen Processing"
Ever since I switched to Revel Advantage my business life has become more complicated.
Missing deposits, Adyen dashboard displaying inaccurate information.
You can't even contact Adyen as Revel is the gatekeeper and they do not respond to legitimate concerns. They say "very sorry about your experience" quite a lot but do nothing about it.
When I ask to escalate my concerns they tell you what you want to hear then "leave you hanging." by not responding or answering your direct question.
I have been in business for 25 years and I have never had the poor customer service and amateurish product that I have experienced with Revel Advantage and Adyen. I am counting the days until my contract with Revel expires.

"ZERO stars"
I'd give zero stars if I could. Aside from their weak technology, their support and communication are non existent. They've deducted money BEFORE the start date of services, they do not respond to emails or calls, and the reporting is unclear and confusing. The integration with 3rd party sales is not reliable and you will lose both customers and money. Their technology does not support what they are selling and I would steer clear of this company at all costs.

"STEER CLEAR!"
STEER CLEAR!! Lost orders, painful user experience, horrendous reporting, over billing, failed credit card processing daily, random system reboots required daily during store hours, incompatible with loyalty program. The list goes on and on. The one thing I will admit is that they are good at getting foolish executives to buy their lies.
Whatever you think you are getting with Revel, please think again!!

"Its terrible that a company can operate…"
Revel = Overpriced dishonest and corrupt. Its terrible that a company can operate in this day and age with such dishonesty - from hiding costs, failing to supply agreements yet embedding them in a url link in the fine print to obscure it, Order forms that order monthly subscriptions then you find out it has a three year term that was never disclosed, sales men that tell you to contact their providers of equipment to get a price, sales men that lie and wont stand by their own word. Then you have the 15k cancellation fee for the 3 year contract you were never advised you had. Customer service teams that don't communicate and pass you off to each other to further yet obscure you from getting any value. A disgraceful company, shame the software is ok, they are now just a greedy corporation with no appreciation or view of their customers. With this company they customer is always wrong and they will tell you so.

They hold your money long beyond any other credit card company/pos service . Transactions from a Wednesday still have not posted on a Saturday and no help or explanation or care for the impact to the small business.

"The software isn't terrible but the…"
The software isn't terrible but the fees make it not worth it. Every additional add on costs extra. To get decent service it's $60 a month. To have a loyalty system is another $25. If you don't use their processor it's another $149. Then on top of it they just raise the software fees above your contracted amount whenever they feel like it and then tack on a 10% administrative fee. I went from under $275 a month to $424 and they had the gaul to tell me they'd charge me the $15,000 cancellation fee if I tried to cancel four months early because of it. Never use this company if you have a choice.

"Poor Customer Service and Worse Authentification Protocols"
If you speak to a rep named Amy, don’t expect much help nor to be spoken to kindly.
Also, Revels account verification process is really lacking proper security and authentication measures as explained to me by Amys manager Dashawn (not too sure on that spelling there)
My issue stayed unresolved and I’ll likely never use nor refer Revel to anyone for use in the future.

"Customer of Revel since…"
We have been a customer of Revel since 2014. Many of the bad reviews here are accurate. Revel has shady business practices and they trick customers into contracts that they do not deliver on. Product is ok but it has a lot of features that do not work as advertised. They will not improve the product either. Find a company that you can escalate issues with that cares about your business. Revel should be ashamed of these bad reviews. over the years it appears they have not changed.

"Huge mistake"
I waited on hold for support once for 61 minutes, YES that is more than 1 hour! Another handful of times I waited for 30-40 minutes. Customer service agents are knowledgeable but there is a language barrier. The system is very confusing to use and set up in Backoffice. A lot of extra steps for every action, not good for a bar at all! I cant see it being beneficial for QSR either. They also misrepresented the capabilities of the system, so I was released from my contract, with a 45% restocking fee on their returned and proprietary equipment (stand, cables and other stuff)
