I wish the company had more flexible terms, or that negotiation is a possibility. I don’t like the data terms. Other than that, I’m quite pleased with my on boarding help thus far. I’m looking forward to learning how to use and maximize this robust platform for my business.

Got bonded to a contract when I didn’t get the full out disclosure of fees and other requirements needed until I had signed agreement. It’s been over 6 weeks and haven’t gotten anything but two boxes and my money has been long gone.
The service after my discontent and explanation of unreasonable help was horrible. Just like all companies they want your money and do not care for your business growth.

I used Revel at a place I managed for a friend. Once I bought my own Pizza restaurant, because of the ease of use of Revel, I decided to get revel. However, after going through the sales process I wish I did not get revel. From the very beginning revel salesperson tied pricing of the hardware and software subscription to us singing with revel for credit processing. But he didn't share any fees and kept telling me we will match and beat your current processors fees. Once I did sign up with revel and bought hardware and signed a contract for 36 months subscription to POS software he sent me credit processing agreement. He did match the rate but o boy, the fees that I found in there! Let us see the list you say, here it is!
Visa/Mastercard/Discover/AMEX/Paypal: rate 0.10% Per item 0.08!
Interchange plus: 0.20!
This is where it gets shady.
Retrieval fee (Per Occurrence): 2.50!
Voice Authorisation fee (Per Occurrence): 0.60!
Voice AVS fee (Per Occurrence): 0.60!
Dial Back-up fee: (Per item): 0.49!
Account Maintenance fee (per month): 7.95!
Annual Account fee (per year): 49.95!
Minimum Monthly Discount: 25.00!
OmniShield Assurance: 14.95 per month! enrolled without permission!
Check Commerce ACH: 0.02!
PCI Non-Validation fee (per month): 19.95
We pay none of these fees with our current processor!
The sales person also said he would help with menu setup, hardware setup but his focus has been to have us sign the credit card processing agreement. No help from him at all! We did it all ourselves. I just hope he didn't lie just to get us to sign!
Some of the above fees were reduced and removed after spending countless hours with salesperson and credit card processing agent. We are however still waiting for them to send us a new contract with adjusted fees.
This is our story with REVEL SYSTEM. Please be careful of predatory and deceitful sales process by them. If I could redo it, I would not get Revel!

I have used Revel for the past 3 years. I run a restaurant on a golf course, and the revel POS is so user friendly and with the system i can keep track of everything i have in stock. I would recommend this product to anyone that’s looking to upgrade their POS.

i wrote a short version of what happen with my POS but was told it was accusatory, it was, but isn't that what the review is for. or maybe we can only write the good reviews. Before you buy a POS make sure you do all your homework. I thought i did and was very, very, very wrong.

Systems work great, but I really needed some guidance during the install process. I’m sure Revel Uni is great, but a little more dialogue with my Support staff would have made the difference.
