"Make the effort to be fair"

Louis S made an extra effort to make sure the new summer discount (which began right before our car was delivered) was applied to our subscription. Really appreciate they made the effort to be fair with us.

"Faultless Company and faultless car!"

I subscribed to a brand new Renault Zoe for about 9 months from September 2022 onwards and today I will be handing it back.

From start to finish it has been a faultless experience. The only reason I am handing the car back is a change of circumstances in the family where I no longer need a second car.

Communication has been perfect with Elmo's team members being helpful and quick to respond to any issues.

If I need a second car again I will definitely be returning to Elmo.

"Great way to explore EV's"

Great way to explore Electric cars and easy to cancel with short subscriptions.

I've used Elmo for a few months now and really impressed with the service, ease of booking car and the selection. Definitely worth a look and here's a referral code that rewards us both :-)

Easy process to start, online help chat available and quick response from the Team. Great availability of options. Quick delivery and cars in great condition. Using for a short time but definitely recommend if in need of a car for a while.

Been so easy to deal with the whole way through. I love my new car and everything able to be completed online!
Even when I wasn’t given a home charging cable, they immediately organized delivery of one. Can’t speak highly enough of Elmo!

"Very happy so far!"

Very responsive to emails an online chat in run-up to rental, and happy with the response provided. There was a slight hitch with delivery in that it was moved to the next day due to lack of drivers and I wasn't informed of this until I'd chased it up, but again the responded quickly, and though it was a bit annoying to have wait around for nothing on the original delivery date, luckily it didn't cause me any bigger issues than that. So far, very happy with the car provided - a superb way to test the waters on EVs and charging etc, or if looking for something more cost effective than a longer rental or shorter than a 2 year lease!

"Great way to get into EVs"

I've had an excellent first time experience with Elmo. When I started my monthly the prices were lower and you could do a monthly rental whereas now you can only do a bi monthly lease or a yearly lease, which to be honest isn't as convenient. The prices have also gone up now as well.

However, I am reviewing my experience and overall it has been excellent with great customer service.

"Be aware"

They will charge you an enormous amount when you return the car. In my previous leasing experiences, company are always quite lenient on issues when you return the car. This is completely opposite with Elmo. They will try all their best to rip you off. I am in the process of fighting with them but please be warned.

"Not as good as it used to be"

This review is about my second Elmo car I’ve rented. The first one was a good car and brand new, but Elmo did mess up and collected it unannounced over a week early last time (albeit they did refund, but not compensate me). This time, the same car is more expensive (I guess that’s inflation), but the delivery experience and condition of the car are far worse.

Firstly the car arrived late, not by much, but it makes it a pain to organise your day. The condition of the nearly two year old 14k mile car was not as I expected - no car mats, a big scrape on the front bumper, no app access (a total pain), small chips and marks and a not very clean interior. The car feels like a 4 year old car and is therefore a terrible deal for the price I pay PM. If the car was new and immaculate it’d be good value, but for a tatty one, not great sadly.
