I purchased a phone which was stolen, the account holders name was changed to someone else's name. I noticed that truconnect has been making withdrawals for the monthly service. When I addressed this situation to truconnect customer rep on 3 different occasions, they said there was nothing they could do because the name on account was different. However, the cash app account was in my name. They refused to stop transactions with my account information. So they continued charging me. Truconnect are a bunch of scammers who take advantage of people $15 at a time. They had no concern for my situation and that I did not authorize further withdrawals. They still proceeded to take my money month after month!

After I finally got my arm card it was easy to set up. I couldn't keep my number because my previous provider was impossible to contact their customer service. But I am happy with my new service so far

The agent I spoke with was knowledgeable and helpful. I got a response in 2 days with my SIM card sent out. I was going on 4 weeks waiting for my SIM card and the person I talked to wanted me to go through the process all over again. I am so glad I switched carriers to TruConnect.

But the stratus 8 that I'm using tends to reset my customized sounds to default sounds for ringtone notifications and alarm. I haven't been able to figure out why, and I don't have root access to the SIM card directly at this time.
