Now the 23rd June 2022 and still no goods or a refund as promised. This company are out and out liars. Be warned do not get caught like we have . !!!

Ordered slips, waited a while, nothing, contacted the owner who told me the slips were in transit, waited a while.. - then I was eventually told they were at the local depot of the transport company awaiting delivery to my address. Waited a while...I eventually phoned the distribution company, pallex, got the name of the local distribution depot, phoned them, and they had nothing for my postcode. I even asked them to check back over the past week - nothing. I double checked with pallex who told me the only local distribution depot was that one, it would not be sent through any other depot. Higgins gave some excuse about it being a different department of pallex (I checked this with pallex and they disagreed).
Anyway, Id had enough by this point so requested a refund. This was the only part that went well. I had a refund email that day, and the money was back in my account on exactly the tenth working day. So I was happy for the refund but I'm convinced no consignment was sent.

"Fraudulent Company"
This is a fraudulent set up. Takes the order and your money and does not deliver the goods. Will string you along with lies and more lies to avoid refunding you even up to the point of agreeing to refund and confirming the refund has been processed; but no refund. DO NOT ORDER - company is also listed as insolvent on company house records. Good reviews are false.
Neil Greenwood’s reply below is a continuation of the BS. Just process the refund!
FURTHER UPDATE:6 weeks has passed now since Greenwood stated that he issued a refund to my card. No credit has been received and he is still insisting that he did it. His payment provider has also confirmed that no credit has been made. There is no end to his deception. He cannot be trusted to tell the truth at all!
FURTHER UPDATE: Still no refund, Neil is still lying! I have reported him on actionfraud.police.uk. I would encourage all Higgins’ victims to report him on this site so the police investigate all his fraud activities.
FINAL UPDATE:
We finally got our money back through our bank’s action which he fought, (chargeback). I am glad that as a result of my actions his card processing company cancelled his contract with them. Hopefully this will help reduce the amount of people falling victim to him.

"AVOID. 6 months of continuous excuses and lies. Still no product."
It is with regret that I have to write this review but I'm left with little to no choice. 6 months, every lie, reason, excuse, answer, disaster, car crash, break down, family emergency under the sun and it still hasn't stopped to this day. You have to be very intelligent to lie well and unfortunately for Neil, he isn't. You can't tell the same lie twice and yet Neil repeatedly does so. I have every excuse and lie recorded from Niel over the last 6 months, it makes for depressingly sad and comical reading. After 6 months of chasing for my £5k of goods; in the Country, not in the Country, in customs, not in customs, private haulage companies going completely missing, it became totally farcical and embarrassing for me to even ask any more so I gave up. Now the refund lies begin, and go on, and on, and on. They will promise you a refund, make a big deal of it too, you'll get a confirmation email but you won't get your money back until you address the issues with your own bank.
The delays and lies, my want to believe in someone who presents himself well have actually cost me three fold the order value in completion penalties the product was intended for. I will be pursuing Higgins for damages.
I do wonder if Neil is a Con "Artist", it is an intended scam, perhaps a wildly disorganised and troubled man struggling for cash flow or they're simply incapable of running a business. I sympathise with other reviewers here, and, if you've already purchased, I recommend you get out, get out now, if you're thinking about purchasing after reading this and other reviewers, good luck.
To Neil and all at Higgins, please think of better excuses (preferably real) in response to this review than your others. Please try to not further purjure yourselves as well, it will be used against you.
Roll on the desperate squirming response.

Addition. The Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) issued on 22nd of February 2022 might tell you all, all you need to know.

protection otherwise.

NEIL is a scam. Plain and simple.
All reviews for missing goods/refunds are true. He stole nearly 2k from me too. Yes, stole, because 5 months later he still hasn’t refunded my money and keeps lying and lying.
Don’t waste your time on emails and calls because the lies and excuses will be endless - maybe deal with that criminal face to face, see if he can do his show then.
