"Dishonest Company"

My husband and I booked a 12 day cruise along with my sister and her husband in August of 2022 to the Mediterranean. Smart Cruiser had offered a $125.00 onboard credit as part of the booking which we were to receive while on the cruise. I contacted Bob F. twice while on board and Holland America reached out to Smart Cruiser twice on our behalf and were told we would see it before the end of the cruise. Needless to say, we did NOT get it, nor did my sister. I contacted Smart cruiser upon my return and requested a credit. After a dozen plus e-mails and phone calls over 6 months with Manager Jen Duckworth we still are no further ahead. Every excuse in the book! She indicated that many attempts to wire money to our account failed. I contacted my bank....no attempts were made. So the final excuse is that we need to have an American account in the States. We are Canadian and have an American account in a Canadian bank...not good enough. If you had given us the money while on board there would be no issues. If you can't cut a cheque or refund money to Canadians...don't take book or take our money in the first place. So DISHONEST! This isn't just about the money...it's the principle. I have booked with Smart Cruiser in the past. NO MORE. We are avid cruisers and will book with travel companies who follow ethical practices.

"What a disgrace of a company…"

What a disgrace of a company I can’t even speak to a manager or supv. They don’t return calls to discuss problems that I have. Wrote letters to the ceo. No response. Trying to speak to somebody of authority still no call back you don’t treat customers like this especially I’m paying thousands for cruises I had numerious issues. I guess they care less about good customers Be very carefull when dealing with this sub par company
How is it they have no managers or supv. How is it that you try to call corporate still no response

"Misleading Sales"

We booked a cruise with Norwegian with the airfare included for our family of 5, which meant 2 cabins (Mom, Dad, 2 sons & a girlfriend.. ages 15, 20 & 20). The reservations were supposed to be linked. The agent explained that the airfare would be "at the discretion of the cruise line" (we understood the translation: we wouldn't know the airline or flight times until 30 days prior). The agent FAILED TO MENTION this could mean our family could be split up on different airlines, and in our case even different days! As part of the booking, we were told we could fly-in the day before the cruise (Feb 4). We live in Canada and February weather is unpredictable. After a change in which 2 of the kids were on a flight of their own, 3 were given flights on Feb 4th and 2 were given flights on Feb 5th. We might have been able to make this work, except our son and his girlfriend aren't on a flight together and the stress this is causing has ruined the trip. If our sales agent knew we could get split up for travel, why wouldn't options have been discussed on how the group would be split?! The bottom line - we would NEVER have booked this trip if the flights conditions had been fully explained. NEVER! When I spoke with Customer Service, the Rep kindly explained that she herself would never book a deal like this for exactly the situation my family is in. Thanks!!! Shame on Smartcruiser for not being up front when making the sale and making ZERO effort to try and resolve. You washed your hands and blamed Norwegian. I would've expected the Sales Agent to know what she was selling and to be honest! Your company has soured our Christmas gift to our kids, wasted hours of our time trying to sort this out, and forced us to spend another $3,000 on new flights to salvage their Christmas gift.

"15 YEARS OF OUTSTANDING SERVICE"

I have been working with SmartCruiser now for 10-15 years, I highly recommend them, there customer service is top notch and their prices cannot be beaten, I used to have to search for good deals now I always know SmartCruiser will do the very best for me, we have had excellent consistent service from them for the 15 plus cruises we have booked with them

"Highest level of service"

Smartcruiser may be the best travel agency out there. Excellent rates, great customer service and on top of that you get additional bonuses and perks if you book with them rather than directly with the cruise company.

I have been a customer for years and will remain so for many more years to come simply because of the fact that they deliver their promises.

We initially booked a virtual interior balcony on the Wonder of the Seas. We found out that Smartcruiser had a group rate on a higher cabin category (central park balcony) which was even cheaper than our interior. We rang them and got to speak to Lynne who has been very kind to help us with our booking. About one hour later we received a new booking confirmation with the adjusted price and cabin category. That's what I call service !

Big credits go out to Lynne and want to mention Patti who has been assisting us with our bookings in the past. Nothing is too much to ask them.

"Kim Tush is great to deal with"

Kim Tush is great to deal with. She has helped us book our cruises on more than one occasion. We book our cruises with another couple at the same time, on the same phone call on speaker. She makes this process so easy and we feel like she truly cares about us. We have booked through Smart Cruiser many times. Always a good price. Never a problem.
