"A Complete Scam – Avoid Kasar Stays at All Costs"

Booked through Vrbo. Managed by Kasar Stays — and it was a total disaster from start to finish.
They changed the property address without telling us, and sent us to a drab, drive covered in rubbish and open black bin bags, uninviting house that looked nothing like what we booked. No warning. No apology.

Then came the hidden charges: a £150 pet fee and an early check-in charge — neither mentioned anywhere before booking.

We were left stranded, had to drive over an hour to find a last-minute hotel, and were only given a third of our money back despite receiving none of what we paid for.

Vrbo support tried to help, but after all the back-and-forth, we’re still out of pocket.

Kasar Stays Ltd is misleading, unprofessional, and not to be trusted. This whole experience was an absolute nightmare.

Avoid at all costs.

We stayed in one of the Kasar Homes through booking.com. It was the Clarence Suite in Chatham. Quite possible the worst experience of my life. I am leaving this review almost a year later because I still can’t stop thinking about how awful the experience was. Sofas were torn up, no hot water, no coffee, bed that smelled bad, front door lock holding on for dear life and rattling most of the night. Stains all over the bed frame. Hostile staff that were more concerned with arguing rather than accepting that this is a sham business that I am rather convinced relies on paid reviews. Collecting keys is a whole other saga and most people seem to have a similar experience. Please look at the same names (i.e. “Bernard”) which appear giving 10/10 reviews on booking.com with the exact same review multiple times on the same listing. Avoid at all costs. I promise you the local premier inn will give you a safer and more comfortable experience. I really have nothing to gain from writing this other than wanting others to not have to live through what we did. They gave us a £15 refund on £120 booking after multiple phone calls. The biggest win was that I didn’t catch any illness from staying in that room to my surprise.

I'm surprised to find that some dishes are dirty(not yet washed after eating) and the hot water supply in the bathroom is unstable.

We have stayed in nearly all of the Kasar Stays properties over the last month or so and they have all been perfect for us, perfectly situated for our purpose and clean with all the conveniences you expect.
The staff managing the properties are wonderfully pleasant, really helpful and easy to contact. The booking in information is really detailed.
Highly recommend for your stay.
