Never in my whole life have I ever met such a badly organised, incompetent bunch of charlatans. Really really shit company

This company is a con and EVERYONE that has given then even 1p have been duped.

The debt they chase is almost 10 years old and is not legally enforceable. The fact they send people to your home is something that you can sue them for as I will be.

I’ve been telling them to leave me alone for almost a year, each time they agree then a new amount is made.

They also committed a major data breach by replying to my email with someone else’s account details and debt information - something which when reported to them over the phone and email they did not see as an issue but ironically the ombudsman do and I even rang the woman whose details they shared to inform her of the breach and to advise her to not pay anything and to put in a claim.

The staff are trained to be nice because they cannot get anything from you. Do not fall for this scam I urge you, ongoing court case against them myself and I urge everyone who has paid them to do the same.

And to ACI don’t use a copy and paste we don’t have sufficient info to locate your account and to contact yourselves, I’ve already sent a list of charges I will be putting forward to you for future contact so do not encourage more.

Edit/update: so even though I’ve added my ref they can’t even locate my details to accurately respond in public. This company is a scam, AVOID.

If your debt is over 6 yrs old then they got no legal right to try and intimate you into paying the statutory barred debt so please tell them to get stuffed refuse to pay a penny and if they call at your home call the police.

I've had a nightmare time with some fraud on my account from 2022. The first I heard about it was a debt collection letter from ACI. Someone opened a utilities account in my name for an address I had moved out of and then defaulted on the payments leading to a default on my credit file. We're applying for a mortgage so this has been incredibly stressful.

The utilities company themselves have been worse than useless (E.on Next) but ACI have been brilliant. It only took 2 emails stating the account was not mine, then evidence I wasn't living there and a phone call explaining the situation and they had accepted it wasn't my debt, closed my account and informed the credit agencies within 2 weeks. E.on haven't even looked at my account properly after dozens of emails, texts and calls so if I didn't have ACI involved I would still have a default on my account with no end in sight. Honestly can't thank them enough.
