Long story short: Buy from their UK site and use providers such as ship2man.im to send to the IOM. Do not follow their advice and buy from their main .com site.

Why? The UK site offers free shipping over £30 and you will not get stung with import duty taxes and fees.

Curious about how much it could sting? Try DHL shipping cost of £16 and import duty taxes and fees of £67.77! That's another pair of clogs and then some.

The shoes received look fab and I'm keen to see how they wear, but unfortunately, given all that additional cost, there might not be a merry bounce in my stride.

Yes I have read other reviews and the soles do come out every time I take the shoes off but that’s an easy fix.

These are comfortable and easy to pop on for my dog walks. As a UK size 9 I always struggle with comfortable wellies - trying hunters etc but in my opinion these are a next level in comparison.

I went safe for black but am eyeing up a more funky colour now.

Really I need to stop falling for products that are relentlessly advertised on Facebook et al. These boots are no where near as good as they look. First of all they’re huge! They make my feet look massive and they’re very heavy. They look cheap and they smell very rubbery. It advertises free and easy returns but it’s a pain. It’s free but you have to take them to a UPS point and as a disabled person in rural area that’s not at all easy. Won’t be using this company again.

"Massively style over substance - Tully boot"

I love the look of these boots but I’m afraid the practicality falls short. Where the rubber and neoprene meet I have developed blisters on both heels. The right boot top cuts into the front of my leg and is even bruising it. My feet always seem to be wet at the end of a walk, I’m not sure if this is the boot leaking, water going over the top of the boot or from my feet getting very hot. I wanted to love them but I’m very disappointed. A lot of money for something so impractical and unsatisfactory.

Were a good boot at first but after 5 months fell apart , contracted the company said they would replace but never did, Not replying to emails.

I went for the Alpine Green & Black Ankle Boot - Bobbi Fit and are perfectly comfortable, fits perfectly (size 7).

Wore them out for the first time today and already had compliments.

I was skeptical initially because of the price, but I’m so glad I went for them.

"Beware of blisters"

I bought these boots as I live in the country. Beware they are a fashion item rather than the practical comfortable boot that they are constantly described as on social media.
I went on a long walk in them and now have several extremely painful blisters on the soles of my feet. I have emailed several times and no one has replied. I am very upset at having spent a lot of money on bad boots and the lack of customer service.

I've read great stuff about customer service and dispatch time. Not my experience so far. The money left my account immediately a week ago and I have heard nothing since. Tried customer service.... nothing.
Dispatch times are not as advertised on the website.

*Update*: I now received my order literally 30 min before we are due to leave for the airport. It would have been a positive experience if Merry People UK staff were reachable and assist with finding out where the possible delay occured. Especially if you pay for a faster delivery time. That would have given me the assurance that they do care about their customers and providing the service that they commit to.

My experience started with super fast delivery and a beautifully packaged parcel. I absolutely love my new boots - I have already walked miles in them, including on the beach and the muddiest track you've ever seen! They are very comfortable and keep my feet totally dry. I'm already eyeing up some of the other colours, best boots I've ever bought!
