Updated on 30 October 2024 at 14:22 in response to the updated reply from A. Farley. What this company offered me was a free pair of boots in return for deleting this review. They told me that the boots would be dispatched to me once I confirmed that I had deleted my honest review detailing my experience of this company. When I did not reply to the email, I was sent a further two emails asking me to delete the review. It was only when I responded to ask them to stop harassing me that the contact with them ended.
Truly awful experience. The order was delayed being dispatched to me, and when I contacted the admin to ask when I could expect dispatch I was basically told that they (the admin) were not in the warehouse and I should just wait. I continued to follow up, and suggested that admin could contact the warehouse to ascertain when the parcel would be dispatched. They did, and indeed there was an issue with the supply – it turned out that A Farley had taken payment from me when the item was not even in stock. So, after being dismissive and rude, the admin came back to offer me a £30 discount. Which was rather insulting given how I had been treated and how the company was conducting its sales strategy. The issue was then escalated to a more senior administrator, who offered a further £10 discount off the order. When the item finally arrived, it was a completely different colour to what was advertised on the A Farley website. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing from this company again. This is not the standard of customer service or quality of items one would expect from a genuine country outfitters.

Ridiculously slow delivery time and they want £10 to return an item. Only a very unhelpful chatbot or long queue to speak to anyone on the phone.

"Returned Boots"
Unfortunately I had to return a pair of boots because they were too tight (which was a shame because I loved the style).
After receiving notification that I would get my refund within 10 days I cheekily responded to the email and asked whether I would also get the 3000 loyalty points refunded to my account as well.
I was not expecting to be successful however, Phoebe responded and told me that she had put them straight back into my account.
We had a few more email exchanges and I wanted to put this review up because I can't remember the last time I had received customer service such as Phoebe has given me. She is a credit to A Farley!!!
