"Refurbishment has improved our properties"

Since I bought my apartment nearly 4 years ago, Cork, Weaver and Monmouth Houses have been updated. As an owner/resident I am pleased with all the refurbishment and believe that our local Property Manager worked hard to achieve this - obviously it was not a smooth process dealing with the various companies but it all turned out Ok eventually!

"Apartment Leak / fix"

Cannot thank Kate Magill enough for her help last week. When my apartment started leaking from the ceiling at 5pm on Easter Bank Holiday during the Covid-19 lockdown, Kate came out to support straight away. I was actually away at the time and Kate was fantastic in taking the initiative to call out a plumber in order to trace the leak and fix the issue (from an apartment on the floors above) in just a few hours. With it being the lockdown & Bank Holiday, Kate had to go to great lengths to find a local plumber who would assist.
The issue has now been resolved and I’m really grateful to Kate for taking control of the situation and all her effort to resolve - thank you!

This review is about Julie Griffiths as property manager more than Mainstay Group. She has singularly made our relationship with Mainstay workable, reliable and responsive. I am not able to coment on Mainstay as a provider. As a multi property owner I have had many different relationships with property managers. It's the same result everytime; if you get a good person managing your property it all works.

So how does this work. You write a factual review then you get someone from Mainstay Residential Marketing questioning your review. Leaseholders wake up.. Who actually chose your Managing Agent was it You and the other Leaseholders or did the Developer set up the RMC and appoint Mainstay Residential. If your Development was built by Persimmon Homes chances are they stitched you up with Mainstay Residential.. What happens then Persimmon sell off the Freehold to some dodgy overseas connected Company and hey presto Leaseholders end at the mercy of Mainstay Residential whom will bleed you dry until you die.
