"THANK YOU CHELSEA P!"

I contacted Main Stay regarding an issue with the hedges outside of our property as due to them being overgrown, we couldn’t access our gas meter. A lovely lady called Chelsea dealt with my query, requested that I send an image of the issue to them and they would arrange for somebody to come and sort it out. Not even 24 hours after I’d spoken with somebody, they had arranged for a team to sort the problem out. Amazing customer service, very responsive and happy to help. Thank you so much Chelsea, we really appreciate your help.

"Copper Quarter."

I've had previous issues with tennants above my flat due to anti social behaviour. Julie Griffiths at Mainstay Copper Quarter was very happy to help and resolve it for me. I can't thank Julie enough for going above and beyond in supporting me in the last 6 Months especially with the current pandemic. Julie is extremely approachable, professional and all round lovely person. I can't thank Julie and the team at Copper Quarter for all their hard work. Thanks again.

"I know my husband has put a review on…"

I know my husband has put a review on but I would like to do one as well , Mel Barker is our manager , she is a lovely person, she makes sure things are done like she was living here , she always makes time to talk and to see if all is ok here, even if she running late, and gets back home late, yes we have had a few problems and Mel is on the ball getting them sorted , I have text her at stupid o’clock thinking Mel would pick up her text in the morning, then when morning comes I have seen that she has seen it during the night , We all know that Mel is only a phone call away , Mel is a credit to the team at mainstay. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟+ thank you 😊

"A good manager is the heart of any good operation!"

We have lived in our apartment that we own, for 7years now and for a number of years to date, Melanie Barker has been our management contact responsible for looking after our needs and an ear and eyes for any issues that need looking after.
We are extremely happy and regard ourselves lucky that Mel has put in charge of looking after our Apartment Block.
She is dedicated to ensuring all issues, large or small get her full attention.
We know that we can contact her any time with the knowledge she will be in touch and do everything in her power to sort a speedy remedy for any problems and has also dealt with several upgrades required to maintain the status and appearance of the property and does everything she can to keep security as high as is attainable.
Mainstay must always regard their localised managers as the face of their operations and that these managers are also the eyes and ears of their company operations.
So, thanks to Mel for all that she does for us “all” here at any one time and for how she represents Mainstay and her full dedication to her position.

"Avoid company services!"

Robbers, making £20000 per year from our few flats, no transparency over our money spent. They have cut a few times grass, washed once our windows, pure money-making machine.

"We had a leasehold property for 10…"

We had a leasehold property for 10 years in a block that was managed by Mainstay.

For a charge of £600 twice annually (so roughly £100 per month), they would cut the grass and hose the bin shed down once a fortnight. Given our block had 10 flats in it, this means Mainstay were taking £1000 per month, or £6,000 twice yearly off everyone for this "service".

They also never upheld the leasehold agreement that calls for front doors to be repainted every 5 years (each door has to be the same colour as stated in the leasehold pack), I'm sure theres a few other tenets that they haven't upheld in accordance with the lease but as we've escaped their clutches I no longer care.

Imagine that, raking in a grand a month just to spend 40mins cutting some grass and turning a hose on, I'm in the wrong job!

We are no longer tethered to these theives having managed to offload our property and being 20k out of pocket in the process (turns out companies like these make your property very difficult to sell as no sane person wants them, which also devalues the bejesus out of said property).

It took us over a year of being on the market before managing to sell. We had a decent number of viewings but the vast majority pulled out, as wait for it, they thought the management fees were too high.

If you value not being robbed blind and being left living in a property that will be very hard to sell on, then run, run for your lives!

"Fantastic service"

I had a fantastic service provided by Mainstay following a leak from the roof. Julie Griffiths has been fantastic as fitting my corner with the insurances and my lost of business. Mainstay have repaired the damages done by the leak in my property and have successfully managed to get compensation in my last of business. Mainstay for me a 5 stars service.
