"I know it sounds monotonous"

Once again I can only sing the praises of Patric. Since he has started working at the Boathouse again....he worked here before..... he has shown all the traits of someone dedicated to doing his job efficiently, effectively and conscientiously. Patric was so hardworking that he injured his back when lifting the rubbish bins. If people wonder why I write these reviews, my answer to that is it's the least we can do to show our gratitude for all the hard work that the mainenance staff do daily. Well done Patric, you are an example to us all.

"Makes me want to just give up"

Worst scam I have ever known the block I live in has not had working lights for 9 months now and the windows have never to my knowledge been cleaned and the cleaning that does go on in the small space is not worth the money you have to pay (I would move but every time I start to save money they take it from me) talk about being stuck.

"Do not move into a block managed by Mainstay!"

Complete lack of action regarding anti social behaviour at various blocks at Trinity Place - Raynes Park.

Judging by other genuine reviews on here and Google, they put minimal effort into resolving issues, with landlords stuck arguing with them to action anything as in our case Mainstay have the freehold.

Avoid at all costs if you're ever considering using them, most positive reviews for them will be Mainstay asking their staff to do 5* ratings so are not genuine.

"Complete Nightmare"

My brother sadly passed away almost two years and died intestate. I am going through the process of getting his flat transferred to me. It is a nightmare. Having read other reviews I see that I'm not the only one with the problem of making contact etc. I have had no response whatsoever from them on any queries. They are asking for £250+ to paint a block of flats that are next door to my property. Unsurprisingly I'm not happy to pay it. The block of flats is nothing to do with me.
I've even sent them a recorded letter. Still no response. Help.

"Nailed it !"

So in fairness, following my last 2x reviews , the fencing contactors arrived today and were able to reinstate the original panels of the boundary fence, which has increased the security between my property and the estate managed by Mainstay.

So well done Mainstay, even though it took 8 weeks.

"Worst Firm ever worked for"

More interested in getting residents and family members to write reviews than caring for their staff.

Im disabled and got no extra help. In the end, had to leave job with stress as no support and this meant I was homeless.......

"Impossible to get hold of Property Manager"

Living at my property managed by mainstay for 2 years now. They fail to respond to simple questions via email and take weeks to resolve issues or even ignore your issues you have raised half the time.

Then when the time comes to pay service charge and other bills they hit you with their complex billing methods not explaining exactly what they are charging for under multiple account appearing to be charging for the same thing. The lack of responses results in customers facing late arrear charges.

An classic example of an issue with mainstay is that I have raised that electric car charging points around my property has not been activated since they have been installed when I moved in. This has been emailed to the mainstay group and property manager several times to only receive the standard response of 'we are checking with the property manager' which we never once heard from yet.

"If I could give zero stars I would"

If I could give zero stars I would. Despite selling the property (which I hasten to add was in part owing to Mainstays blatant rip off fees & charges). One year on, I’m still getting bills & demands. I have contacted & emailed to request they update records but all has been an entire waste of oxygen.
It’s not as though they don’t actually know the property has changed hands. Part of the process they insist on is a solicitor’s pack and reassignment documentation all at an unreasonable cost of course.

It’s a wonder they’re still in business, maybe it’s the poor souls like myself who continue to pay through the nose for the seemingly incompetent financial mismanagement and inefficiencies.

All I want is my name off their records & not to receive bills from them. That’s clearly too difficult. No where else to turn.
