"Stærkær Invest Holding ApS and Torben Stærkær Frandsen – A Well-Structured Cross-Border Scam"

I am writing this review to warn others about what I believe to be an orchestrated and highly deceptive cross-border scam operated by Torben Stærkær Frandsen, through his Danish company, Stærkær Invest Holding ApS (CVR DK33385943).

In early April 2025, I was contacted via Go4WorldBusiness by Torben himself, responding to my query for Samyang noodle suppliers. Everything looked legitimate: I received a proforma invoice, company registration appeared valid, and communication was smooth — right up until I paid €500.00 for a shipment of 100 cartons of noodles.

After payment (which was sent to a Lithuanian bank account in the name of Clovis Neba), I was provided a fake tracking number that showed no movement. Then came the next twist: I was contacted by a so-called shipping agent (SPID SP.ZO.O.) claiming the goods were returned by German customs and demanding I increase the order to 5–10 tons to comply with “new EU rules.” This is an aggressive, manipulative scam tactic designed to extort more money from victims.

I refused and requested a refund. Torben never responded again. Silence. No goods. No refund. No explanation.

🔍 Who is Torben Stærkær Frandsen?
He is not some anonymous online scammer. He is a well-connected Danish businessman with directorships or affiliations with over a dozen companies, including:

Many of these are registered to the same address in Børkop, Denmark, and share the same contact details and corporate structure — a red flag for shell companies or layered financial operations. This looks like a network built for obfuscation and financial evasion.

🚨 Authorities Now Involved
Because of his complete failure to refund my money or provide the goods, I have now filed complaints with:

The Danish Consumer Ombudsman

Danish Business Authority

Danish National Police

The European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF)

UK International Consumer Centre

Go4WorldBusiness.com

And I’ve begun civil litigation in Denmark

I am also flying to Denmark to personally pursue this legal case.

📢 The Public Needs to Know
Torben Stærkær Frandsen is actively engaging in fraud and using Denmark’s business registry as cover. If you are approached by him, his companies, or affiliated parties — do not send money.

His companies have the appearance of legitimacy but behave like textbook fraud operations: fake logistics excuses, demand for larger payments, refusal to refund, and total disappearance.

I urge all platforms, directories, buyers, and regulators to investigate this man and his companies fully. He must be held accountable, and others must be protected from falling victim to the same scam.

I was aiming to reassemble and repurpose my 25-year old DanChair for my grandson only to discover that I was 4 screws and washers missing. BabyDan were wonderful and manage to scour their warehouse for the replacement parts and kindly posted them as well as a brand new harness and screws to me from Europe. Truly fabulous customer service with constant kind contact and a wonderful way to be sustainable. A second generation of toddlers will join the BabyDan family.

Une personne bienveillante qui m'a aidé efficacement sans devoir discuter avec un bot... ça change :) Je recommande vivement cette société, tant pour la qualité de ses produits que pour l'efficacité de son service après vente. " Excellent BabyDan Super Flexi Fit Safety Gate"

Recently bought
BabyDan Super Flexi Fit Safety Gate for our weekly grandson visit. Awkward angle on stairs/wall meant the gate is about fully stretched. Excellent features like angled fitting and totally removable for when he isn’t here. But just so others are aware- at full width, opening with one hand isn’t possible as you need to lift it from the middle as well as push the clip. Certainly not prohibitive here. Ideal benefits of this particular gate. The online video instructions(link was inside the box) were fantastic, stopping at each stage to give you time to complete that task.

"BabyDan GuardMe gate"

I bought a safety gate from Amazon and a screw was missing however Amazon only offered returning the product rather than replacing the missing part. After reaching out to BabyDan they very quickly responded and sent out the replacement screws!
