"UpLead's customer service is awesome"

UpLead's customer service is awesome. I'm not very good with technology and had a lot of questions. All of which were answered in minutes. When I asked for a demo, it happened the same day. The only reason I'm not giving them five stars is some of the phone numbers are office, not mobile. And some are disconnected, etc. Overall, I would highly recommend them.

"I use Uplead daily"

I use Uplead daily, hourly actually as I am in sales and most of my work is done on the phone. If I find a company I want to entice, I look them up in Uplead and the throw up the entire list of employees with titles and CELL PHONE NUMBERS. These numbers are often hard to get but they are the only way to easily reach my target market which are biz dev, sale managers, marketing folks-anyone who would make a decision on purchasing a booth or sponsorship. Since I've been using salesforce, the time I spend on research has cut way down, giving me more time to actually call and talk with decision makers. It is also great for finding lists of obscure folks such as "facility managers in public sector". Point being its very worth the money invested. Service is also good. There can be some problems with bad phone numbers, but they always give me a credit when that happens.

"Scam subscription model"

Scam subscription model. You pay for a certain number of credits, however you must use those credits within a month. If you want to use those credits more than 30 days after purchase, you have to pay for more credits (and another month of access).

"Don't bother"

Don't bother, they're scamming you.

They won't tell you that they plan on charging you for a YEAR of the service ($890) during your trial, but they WILL in fact charge that and no they do NOT provide refunds under any circumstances.

This company is ranked in my top 5 WORST software platforms / companies I've ever interacted with. The product is mid, but the company is clearly out to scam people which I genuinely just don't understand.

Because I tried to report their fraudulent charge to my bank, they locked me out INDEFINITELY from my account that I paid $890 to be able to access... (it's been months and I've never been let back in).

Crappy product and HORRIBLE company. Seriously, look elsewhere.
