Do not be fooled by the website
Worst buying experience ever
When you order there's no mention of when it's going to be delivered.so about 2 weeks after I ordered I got in touch.apparently there had been a problem with my paypal-fair enough.why didn't anyone get in touch though?
They always answer your email,saying they'll chase it up but they will never keep you informed voluntarily. It's like they take your money and forget about you until you start nagging them.it doesn't seem like it's a proper company. The website seems great,you'd imagine they were for instance like a big company like marks & Spencers but the service they provide makes me wonder if it's just a new starter in an office by themselves.I came to the realisation ,after seeing many negative reviews (why oh why didn't I take notice?)that they just DO NOT CARE about the customer at all.
You are not providing an adequate service

"Messed up delivery."

I ordered 2x wardrobes on 06 February and paid £70 for the express delivery. On 20 February (14 days later) only 1 of the wardrobes was delivered and the 2nd wardrobe was delivered on 25 February (19 days from the date I paid). Still waiting for a refund of express delivery fee. They did apologise, however, hopefully I will get my money back. I'm happy with the wardrobes. Value for money.

"Absolutely amazing customer service"

Absolutely amazing customer service! I cannot stress enough how great the support is, I had a minor issue with my order (my fault) and they helped me very quickly. My order came quickly, and in perfect condition.

Not sure why some of the other reviews are low, clearly an issue with their end.

"Worst online experience ever!"

Worst online experience ever!

To celebrate our first Christmas in our new house we hunted high and low for a new dining table. Online reviews made us believe Frances Hunt Furniture were a company we could trust so we ordered a new dining table in October. At the point of order we were told we would receive the table before Christmas. Every two weeks we called Frances Hunt for an update and at every point we reassured. End of November Frances Hunt gave us a delivery slot of week commencing 18th December 2018. On 14th December Frances Hunt called to say the earliest they could delivery is end of January 2019.
The best Frances Hunt could offer was either a table we would never have chosen from a list of tables they had in stock or a full refund.
We opted for a refund and we were promised this would be processed and with us within 14 days. It took 8-weeks to receive our money having chased and threaten legal action.

A shockingly bad experience from a company who showed no interest in one of its customers. Buyer beware!

"Refund nightmare"

Ordered sofa paid express delivery 2 days item out of stock so asked for a refund in December. After calls emails promises I was told they had made refund to my account on 15th jan2019 I've just rang again now 23rd still not in my account. I've had to say I'm taking legal action today if I don't get a refund. Discussing they managed to process taking my money in 1 day!

"Not great customer service"

I ordered my bed mid December it says on the site up to 2 weeks delivery I didn’t receive it until January ( over 3 weeks) it takes them 2-3 days to reply to any emails the bed arrived with 3 connectors missing ( these are imperative when the bed is in 4 parts ! Again 3 days to respond to the email, they said the parts would be sent out in 48 hours 6 days later still waiting !!!

"look elsewhere"

Bought an item which was incorrectly detailed on their website as being made of a material that it was not.
Firstly, It took four weeks for it to arrive, secondly, Upon receiving it we immediately realised it was wrong and requested a collection for refund. I’ve phoned 5 times, and emailed even more, being promised each time ill be phoned back by management but I’ve not been phoned back once.
It’s now been 6 weeks since we made that first phone call trying to send it back and it’s still sitting in our hallway. I finally got through to a manager when I phoned late one night by chance but still yet to get a date for it to be collected or any of my money back.
We have been inconvenienced and out of pocket over the Christmas period through no fault of our own, so I can safely say I’ll never shop with them again.

"Very helpful when you are spending…"

Very helpful when you are spending money but try and get a refund when you happen to cancel an order. Order was cancelled day after placement, chased multiple times for a refund and was told it would take 14 days. Terrible attitude on the phone, especially Marino. I wont be giving them a second chance.

"Extremely dissatisfied and dissapointed!"

I’m extremely frustrated with the poor customer service I recieved from this company. I ordered a dressing table, stool and mirror set and although the dressing table and stool arrived on time, I was informed the mirror was out of stock and would be in by mid November. I ordered the whole set on the 13th October 2018. When mid November arrived I recieved nothing ,not even a phone call so I rang the company to chase it up. I was told there was a delay and it would arrive the following week as a delivery was expected on the week beginning 26th November. Again, nothing arrived. So I chased it up again and was told the mirror would arrive to the company on the 4th December the following week. I waited till the 7th December and again heard nothing from them. By this point I was furious as it had been 8 weeks since I placed my order and I was constantly chasing them. I don’t feel valued as a customer and feel the service they provide is sub standard. I then contacted them on the 7th December and was fobbed off three times that day being told I would I get a call back and I didn’t. Till I rang and asked for a refund at which point the manager Marino rang me back and promised the delivery the following Thursday however, I felt that I shouldn’t have to wait two months for a product I pay full price for and also to recieve appalling customer service. So I asked for some money off the mirror and was told he would get back to me after the weekend with an answer. When Monday arrived surprise surprise no phone call! So I rang again at midday and was told Marino was in a meeting and would call me back. I recieved no return of the call so rang again at 6pm and was told he had gone home. Iv been left with no choice but to ask for a refund of the mirror and cancel the delivery as it’s just not worth the hassle. I would rather spend my money on a company that actually values my custom and gives me the time of day. They are full of false promises and never get back to you. So my advice to anyone is steer clear of this retailer!
