Polite, efficient and knowledgeable. He arrived on time and sorted our system, leaving helpful notes and explanations . Left absolutely no dust or anything to clear up. Excellent level of service which we can not fault.

"UNPROFESSIONALISM!!!"

Today I received a final invoice letter from PRO-SEC fire and security regarding payments that are outstanding that I had no awareness of. Summer 2012 my property was burgled into and to protect the safety of me and my six-month-old daughter I was advised to get an alarm system professionally installed. Despite being on benefits and not working at the time, I recall paying your alarm fitter in full. In relation to the sales and maintenance agreement installation and service documentation, it was not explained to me clearly. Due to being 18 years old at the time and having to move to a new city as I had to escape from domestic violence, I feel as if my vulnerability has been exploited by your company.
My alarm system is over ten years old. I have received letters in the past regarding that my alarm system is due for an annual check. However, when I would call Pro-Sec via telephone and tell them I do not want it serviced, not once was I informed that a cost may or will still incur.
Why would your company wait until 2022, to inform me of any outstanding costs? However, B.L response to this today was extremely unprofessional and rude. I tried to explain to B.L on many attempts that I had no awareness that fees were due, as I would have paid them immediately. B.L responded with “well you are aware of them now, so pay them!”. I am a qualified adult nurse and a single parent to two children. My two-and-a-half-year-old son suffers with a life limiting blood disorder and he is currently awaiting to be tested for Autism, I currently have enough to deal with. Now, this invoice is now causing me additional stress and anxiety.
I had asked B.L for his managers contact details as I want to raise a formal complaint about his attitude. B.L responded with “no one is above him”. I said you must have a manager, B.L then said “he does his job so well that no one is above him”.
It is stated that this is the “final invoice”. Can you please provide me with the following:
• All invoices that have been sent to my address.
• The amount of maintenance checks that have been carried out
We are now in 2022, and you are aware that a lot of households are experiencing a lot of financial difficulties. Why would you wait until now to notify me about payments being due? Furthermore, only allow your customer seven days of receiving the letter to pay the invoice in full.

"Deceitful Practices"

To sum up, PROSECUK underquoted the price of the service when i called them, then used the opportunity to try and replace batteries at 5 times their cost, and left without solving the problem I called them out for.

Got quoted £200 for a call out to repair my alarm that was going off for no reason. The engineer came fast and "serviced" the system. Luckily I watched over him and stopped him from replacing both batteries on my system when only one was faulty.
Turns out he was charging 70 per battery, which cost £15 - no wonder he was keen on flogging as many as possible.

And the 200 pounds was ex vat.

And the problem wasn't resolved.

I ended up paying them £281 pounds for a 15 pound battery, and I still had to repair the alarm myself, by buying a 40 pound second hand replacement sensor.

I feel cheated, and would not recommend at all.
