We recently got the keys to our new 2 bedroom property on The Old Printworks site in Frome. From start to finish I can honesty say that Helyn & Diana have kept us informed of what was happening and when. We had a couple of issues nearing completion but these were dealt with very swiftly and put right immediately.
We are so pleased with the house and the way it has been built and the finish is excellent. The service from all the staff has been amazing.

"Cottrell Gardens"
Today marks another bizarre day at Cottrell Gardens as the main builders have packed their bags and left as Acorn have fallen out with them and not paying them. This is the 2nd time this has happened so impressively, Acorn have now fallen out with 2 main builders, several sub-contractors and pretty much everybody who’s bought a house here. I wonder if Acorn will ever realise that they’re the lowest common denominator with all these disputes?
We bought over a year ago and had one huge problem that was resolved quickly so we thought they’d be ok. They also fixed some initial snags after a long while but at least they were done. However, Acorn no longer respond to any residents at all and several of us have quite major problems that look like are never going to get resolved without legal action.
My advice, don’t buy at Cottrell Gardens until Acorn change the management team for this site as there’s no way things can improve with the current personnel.
I should mention however, the sales team are fantastic but unfortunately are let down by the MD and site-manager.

"The second house we've bought from Acorn Blue"
We bought a house from Acorn Blue a few years ago in Constantine Bay and were extremely happy with the service we got especially from Sean Butcher. After a few small problems with some minor snagging issues we have had a couple of trouble free years there. We loved the area so much that when the plans for the new houses came out we were lucky enough to secure one, again with Seans help. The build took longer than expected because of covid but we are now so please to have got the keys last week and are so happy with the house. Wayne was also really obliging, and kept in touch throughout the build, he was also extremely helpful when we made changes and quickly delt with any build issues. We look forward to many holidays down in Cornwall thanks to Acorn Blue and their team.

"It’s 4 years since we started the…"
It’s 4 years since we started the process of purchasing a property at The Rest. We were in from the start of the development and had to do everything by Email. We purchased our apartment sight unseen because of Covid but we were very confident with Acorn and their on-site staff that it would it would work out fine. And it did. The apartment and overall development is wonderful.
Without the sales team of Rebecca, Julia, Jasmine, and Jessica this would not have been possible. They were our communication channel in the design and construction stages of our much modified apartment. I am sure this was not in their job description. If it was, then they went above and beyond to work so cooperatively and effectively with us throughout this complex project. Their attention to detail and responsiveness was so impressive. Since our purchase, Rebecca has continued to be our on-site go to person on basically everything. She is the Ambassador for Acorn and deals with things big and small with such professionalism, enthusiasm and aplomb.

"Property purchase - The Links Rest Bay"
I bought a property in the Links Rest Bay, brand new and I must say that the service from sale right up to any snaging and repairs that have been needing done from a new build has been exceptional. Their customer service is excellent, their communication is excellent and dealing with Rebecca at the Links office has been outstanding. Rebecca has dealt with requests and responded to queries almost immediately. Thank you to Acorn group for being fantastic pre sale and post sale.

"Poor aftercare and snagging, Major issues unresolved after 18 months, Rude Aftercare team member"
Purchase a house from Acorn around 18 months ago. While the house itself looks lovely and its in a great location. Building work is not great, which is not a deal breaker.
The problem is their after care service and poor snagging follow up. Many issues have been around for many months, and they try to drag on issues until property owners give up chasing.
What worse is you will have to deal with their aftercare (Justina) who is a absolute nightmare!
Would I buy another home from Acorn? BIG NO.

Thank you Acorn for your patience during the conveyance process, we were messed around and delayed by unforeseen circumstances in our chain, and not only did you stick with us but if it wasn't for Rebecca in the sales office, she went above and beyond her duty to help us in every way she could. She also pushed solicitors and agents within the chain which made a huge impact. Now that we have finally moved in, we couldn't be happier, the apartment, the development and our new neighbours, it is incredible, we genuinely couldnt be happier. Thank you Mr Green.

"Perfect seaside apartment, amazing customer service"
We brought a seafront apartment at the links - with the whole process managed seamlessly by Rebecca. We originally went to buy a different (smaller!) apartment, but her understanding of our needs, lifestyle and development meant that she found a far better choice which suited our family and longer term goals.
The flat is wonderful, and aside from some snagging issues, have loved our experience to date.
