I purchased a house at the Brooks Dye Works development in Bristol and had a very positive experience overall. The Sales team, Charlie and Ruby, were exceptionally helpful throughout, letting me know of developments in legal and on site progress. The Aftercare team, Justina and Laura, were also attentive to immediate issues and resolved any snagging items in a reasonable time.

"Acorn Frome Development"

Experience with Acron at the Frome Development started in March 2021. Helyn from the Sales team was very informative and made the experience of buying our first home very easy. We had great communication and prompt responses throughout the buying process, she was happy to answer any questions we threw her way.
The only disappointment was slip on the anticipated completion date, however considering the general limitations the pandemic had brought it wasn't unreasonable.
Since moving in, we have overall been very impressed with the build and finishing standard, certainly when comparing to other new build developments we looked at. All our snags are being handled in order of urgency, just waiting for the last few. The site team are very friendly and happy to help. We have used the Clixifix system and tickets have been dealt with in a reasonable time frame.

Overall our experience so far has been very positive and would recommend to others.

I bought a flat at the links in porthcawl. The build quality is fantastic in a beautiful location. This is our first home and we couldn't be happier! The process was fairly simple with regular updates from the sales team on site and help with the purchase. We look forward to our years here!

We love the property sea views and well maintained grounds in a relaxing atmosphere.our family and friends love visiting and taking the coastal walk a few yards from the grounds with fabulous views of Rest Bay. "Hope House, Bath"

I purchased my property in the Hope House Development, Bath a little over 6 months ago. I was particularly struck by the build quality of not just the properties, but the general areas and grounds which have been sympathetically blended with the original Grade II listed Hope House. My property is well designed and appointed, with top quality appliances and finishes throughout. With tall ceilings, large windows and light coloured bath stone exteriors and communal areas, the houses and apartments have the suggestion of Georgian houses but without the negatives and inconveniences of old buildings and listing consents. Luxury touches such as underfloor heating, integrated data services, well appointed bathrooms and granite kitchen worktops along with top quality Miele appliances are much appreciated. Thoughtful additions include a communal bike store, recycling centre, gardeners who maintain the extensive grounds and an on-site Concierge; Alex, all of which make these homes a delight to live in. As with all new properties, there have been some snagging issues but these are addressed quickly by the onsite Maintenance Man Vince and the Customer Care Manager Justina – both of whom are helpful, friendly and efficient. Whilst not all issues can be solved immediately, they are engaged and dedicated to finding solutions and this gives me confidence that I have made a good decision buying here. From my experience so far of purchasing and living in an Acorn home, I can highly recommend Acorn, their properties and the excellent support provided by their team members.

"2 Bedroom Apartment At The 18th The Links Rest Bay Porthcawl"

Picked our keys up for our 2 bedroom apartment at the Rest, The Links, Porthcawl on 4/11/21. Hadn’t been down for a couple of months when construction work was ongoing. We were totally amazed how the development had progressed in all aspects of the build. All parking was allocated for each apartment, there were even EV charging points installed. We purchased an apartment from phase11, new build development. Phase1, the restoration of the original grade 2 listed building was a real eye opener on entering the development through electric gates, you can clearly see that all the original features were still intact, absolutely amazing. The handover went fluent and the sales representative gave us a full detailed walk around and explained how everything worked and what additional requirements were needed, ie: broadband, connectivity of the wireless box provided to control the underfloor heating from an app. A information pack was provided with covers instruction manuals for all the built in appliances etc.. a check list was provided for us to carefully go through the apartment at our leisure for any defects. Nothing found !! I work in construction on new build and I can honestly say Acorn Properties have built this development to an exceptional high standard with no expense spared on appliances and latest tech, we even received a luxury Welsh hamper using local products from luxury chocolates to locally made wine. Overall it has been a very easy and pleasurable experience purchasing our investment from Acorn Property Developers. Thank You.

I first met the sales team at the beginning of the year. Helyn led the team very effectively demonstrating deep knowledge of the buildings and their specifications. She was very professional and informative.
Once I had committed to buying a house she continued to provide me with regular updates and help me through the process.
Unfortunately the promised date started to slip. This was mainly to do with COVID and it’s associated problems and made the sales teams job much harder as it coincided with the Governments ludicrous stamp duty holiday which caused major disruptions through increased demand throughout the industry. When I eventually got the keys we discovered that the house wasn’t quite ready, In fact it was dirty but Helyn and her team immediately got involved in resolving the problem.
Following on from my moving in I used the clicknfix programme to register some minor problems and had no reply. However once I’d raised it again with Helyn and her team I was put in touch with Justina who came to site and ensured my issues were dealt with. Subsequent dealings with the Sales office have been excellent.

She has assisted me with number of queries and guided me throught the process of using Clixifix. She is always very polite and willing to help which made my experience with Acorn very pleasant!
