"Worst experience I have ever had in…"

Worst experience I have ever had in trying to get a loan; and trust me, I've had my share. I cannot understand for the life of me why VMBS has continued to align their business reputation with this scam of an agency. I applied for a loan and was told I would hear back in 24 to 48 hours...fast forward 3 weeks and dozens of unanswered calls and emails later...I am still in the dark as to what the heck is going on!! Listen, if you're in Jamaica, forget about this loan company, especially if it's an emergency. You're not gonna be able to get any update from Carilend nor from VMBS. It's like a big joke.

On one rare occaision that I got someone on the phone and made a query about my loan request, I was told that "The person that deals with that is working from home today so send an email and they'll definately see it and respond." What?!?! Ok. So I send the email...sure enough, no response!!

This place is a joke. No wonder they hide the comments section so far away from their website.

I've have a great experience as both a borrower and a lender. It is convenient to make applications and conduct business electronically. The website is easy to navigate and allows me to keep up to date with my transactions. I'm not a finance guru, but I can easily log into my lender's account and see the interest being earned on my investment. It's also very convenient that withdrawals can be made through electronic banking. Overall I consider Carilend to be modern and highly efficient & would recommend them both for borrowing and investment.
