I was referred to Carilend by a VMBS staff member . The application process was fairly simple and easy to complete however after you have submitted your documents the wait to hear whether you are approved or denied is long and treacherous. The website states that you will get your approval within hours and that is simply not true. It has been weeks and still no update. When you call it takes multiple tries to get someone on the phone and when you do get through to someone you are then told you will receive a phone call within that day. They will not get back to you. You are now forced to look elsewhere where they will pull your credit score again which in turns lower your score. It would be great if Cari Lend was upfront about their processing time and let potential clients know how long they will have to wait for an answer so we can decide whether or not it’s worth going through with.

I have been awaiting an answer on approval since the 25th of May. The last thing was done was the bank verification. After they told me the system was down. There was no reply to my emails. Still awaiting. If the loan request was rejected atleast tell the customer.

Completed an application about 2 weeks now after a friend spoke highly of the team. They keep saying their systems are down only when you get on to them which can be tedious. I’m worried it’s something more than a system issue

This is the worst loan place that could have ever come to jamaica. What they advertise is unprofessional and theif. The company is a big scam and I don't even know why VM would ever partner with them. You will not get no proper customer service that's through the windows they have none. What you sign up online to get and the interest rate it will be double the amount. What they talk about quick and fast you apply not best believe it's two months before you hear from not commercial big big big banks have some much Hassle or trouble to get a lone this company dont even deserves a star.
