So far so good. I have re-registered after 14 years away. I was contacted really quickly and the portal is great and easy to use. I had a couple of queries and used the chat facility, which was wonderful. Natasha r answered all my questions and was really helpful

The pensions department at parasol are fantastic! They inform you before the end of the tax year on how to fully utilise the allowances which is so helpful.
In addition to this they also sent a circular confirming offering a bonus top up on pensions contributions. When I asked them what this meant I got a personalised email providing all the information that I needed and explained how they share the Emploers NIC savings etc.

I have had absolutely nothing but grief with this umbrella. They treat clients like the lowest form of staff, the attention to detail is appalling and I seem to have to chase them every month as something is wrong with or missing from my payments. Getting any sense out of them is impossible. I am on the verge of retiring which is the only reason I have put up with them - it wont be for much longer!
Avoid at all costs - I didn't believe anyone could make working inside IR35 even less appealing.

I've had numerous problems with parasol regarding getting paid.
I'm supposed to be paid on the same day that the invoice is paid by my agency. While this happens the majority of the time, I've lost count of the amount of times I've had to ring up to get them to find out why I haven't been paid yet.
They insist that they have not received payment from my agency, they say they will investigate but it take for me to phone the agency, get them to send parasol proof that the invoice was paid. Of course the payment is then found and the invoice is updated, but I've just spent two hours ringing between agency and parasol because they can't find a payment on their system.
The invoice status finally gets changed from 'Invoice Sent' to 'Invoice Paid', but they never once phoned me back to say everything is sorted. It's always me doing the chasing.
The second issue I have with them, is that when the invoice is updated on their system to 'INVOICE PAID', it can range anywhere between 1 & 14 hours for that payment to reach my bank. I'm told I'll get a text message to say when it's in my bank but that text will sometimes arrive days late.
