Just shockingly bad.
I cannot descibe how appaling the service is. I chatted to a team member last Friday, promised they sent my invoice to my client. yet again, they lied and didn't uphold what they said they would do. I as a result didn't get paid....
useless. endless problems. DONT USE. there are far better companies out there. Read the bad reviews. They are relevant!

Though it took little while to setup my record correctly, but overall experience is quite good. I am very impressed with Lorraine from Pensions department, truly appreciated her help!! Timesheets and payroll systems are pretty simple and self explanatory. Lots of knowledge base articles are available to refer. And Caroola rewards are pretty good and valuable, I do use it regularly.

Excellent service from Lorraine Tench at Parasol. I had an ongoing issue and was getting no traction until Lorraine stepped in and dealt with the problem. She kept me updated with regular emails and updated me accordingly. Lorraine took charge of my concerns. Without Lorraine's input and efforts the issue would never had been resolved. Great asset to Parasol!

"Misleading and unhelpful"

I only use umbrealla companies as an obligation under IR35. And as such I have now used Parasol a few times. Each time the advice I am given is misleading or obscure. If I ask direct questions I am not answered, and I have to persist. They are focused on "sales" and upselling, and here they are incentivised to be less than transparent and clear when talking to you. I don't know if there's a better umbrella out there but I want to find one.

However, it's misleading to say my complaint related to an issue in 2023. there were a variety if issues and challenges across 2023 and up to December 2024 - I gave up trying to get an answer to my last question as every email I sent was answered by a different team members - creating inconsistency and confusion - and after several conversations there was still no answer to a simple question. So the poor experience is recent if you are considering using them.
The reply below does not in my opinion reflect the terrible experience and is misleading about the nature of our conversation, and certainly not a resolution to the number of issues I raised about the way you operate and the obligation you feel to your "employees"
