I joined Parasol Umbrella company in good faith in January 2025 but regretted it after a couple of weeks. Despite completing my timesheet with my agency and having received approval of my timesheet and expenses from my end client, they insisted that I needed to complete yet another timesheet and expenses on their portal. I sent a resignation email immediately towards the end of January 2025.
Although my agency intervened and got them to pay my first week's timesheet in January, they withheld my expenses until now. Parasol contacted me in March 2025 insisting that I MUST complete my Timesheet, Expenses and Resignation on their portal before my outstanding payment could be made. Having completed the timesheet,expenses and my resignation, I received an email today confirming that my expenses would be paid once its confirmed.
Honestly, this is unfair for an umbrella company to withhold my money without any interests or penalties for so long and still didn't bother to confirm anything with whoever they needed to confirm with.
I have yet again have to defer to my agency to intervene. I work long hours and really needed an efficient seamless payment system which was not my experience with Parasolgroup.
