I recommended the Solicitor to my client following recent positive experience. Communication in this event was very poor to the client. I feel that whilst i understand the legal process can be challenging and cumbersome a phone call to the client would have prevented concern and frustration........ Policy requirements had to be challenged and chased up with the solicitor......... Not good at all.

Sort refer is dealing with my file compliance with their subsidiary, Sort legal. I have been told my file is "with the compliance team". I asked for names - "There are no names. They are a team". So it seems my file is with a nebulous group of anonymous entities checking on my financials. I asked for a timeframe: "We don't chase them. We let the process happen when it happens". 6 months into the process, the seller is understandably frustrated and the sale is likely going to fall through today because of this anonymous team. What a disgrace.

Update 27 Nov: As anticipated, the sale fell through yesterday. We provided the information requested in the automated response, and of course, as also anticipated, this complaint went nowhere. 6 months wasted for the seller and us!
