Had my GIN X for alittle while now... having said in a previous feedback it takes awhile for your bike to get to you. In my case it did too... however now I have it I use it almost everyday, having initially got it for work use,it far exceeded that. This company for whatever reason is taking so many orders for this bike it's quite a wait for them to fulfil... please be patient it's a fantastic bike and yes you can customise to your hearts content with add ons.

Warning: Avoid GIN E Electric Bikes - Terrible Experience from Start to Finish
If you're considering buying a GIN E electric bike, do yourself a favour and steer clear! My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same ordeal.
I ordered a bike months before my July holiday, specifically for the holiday, thinking I’d have plenty of time to enjoy it. Fast forward 14 weeks and the bike still hadn’t arrived. That was only the beginning of the problems. When the bike finally did show up, it was missing all the extras that had been promised at the time of purchase. After multiple attempts to chase them down, the extras finally arrived weeks later.
But the real nightmare began the day the bike arrived. The bike’s battery wouldn't charge. After more delays, GIN E sent us a new charger, but surprise the same issue persisted. Then, after even more back and forth, they sent a *new battery, but once again, it wouldn’t charge. It’s now been weeks, and I still haven’t been able to use the bike at all.
The customer service is abysmal. Good luck trying to get in touch with them, because their helpline is a black hole. Their chat support is a joke — the handlers clearly have no idea how to resolve the issue and give generic responses at best. The user manual is completely useless and provides no guidance for resolving technical issues. We’re now boxing up the bike to send it back for good.
Thankfully, Visa is stepping in to give us a full refund, but I can't overstate how frustrating and time-consuming this entire process has been. If you're lucky enough to get a bike that works, good for you — but don't count on it. In my experience, GIN E bikes are unreliable and the customer support is non-existent if you want to return the bike.
Save yourself the trouble. There are reliable British companies out there selling electric bikes with proper customer support. Go with them and avoid the headache and disappointment I’ve had to endure.

An update, after asking numerous times for a refund and an exact address to return the bike with no joy we contacted Visa for a refund. Customer Support continued to tell us we needed to look at the programme and change the programme using the user guide with no details of how to programme anything. They proceeded to send an unprofessional YouTube clip of a customer bumbling their way through the programme setting giving no guidance at all. Visa were happy to send a refund based on the fact that we had had numerous issues with the bike and to top everything, the address for this business is a self storage facility! VERY suspicious!

Can't believe how much you lied about sending me the bike you showed pics of the van saying it will be delivered in 48 hours been over 2 weeks not even a tracking number. Just read reviews every one says the same thing lies and lies

"I’ve had this bike about a month now"
I’ve had this bike about a month now, I live near to the Lickey hills, so a fairly hilly area, but I have to say the bike beats my expectations, I’m 70 years old, yet since using the bike, I feel really comfortable going a distance and hills have not yet been a problem. well worth the wait which was quite long but very happy so far.

My son ordered a bike in February 2024. It never arrived despite promises. He has contacted them again to get his money back after cancelling his order as they assured him he would get a full refund. He is still waiting. Financial ombudsman next. 😡

Hopefully, this gets your attention: this is an online, **scam**, all the "reviews" and 5 stars are paid for, this bike probably doesn't exist and I'm now like all the people in the 1-star reviews: didn't receive a bike and the refund never came (even with the huge fee they mention in small prints). Do not waster you money.

Terrible Company.
It is a real SCAM.
This company is not honest and lies more than Pinocchio. They never keep their promises. In their shipping policy they say it takes between 48 to 72 hours, which is a LIE, it can take at least 3 months or more, they send you automatic messages and fake photos every week and every week they ask you for more delivery time... which they never tell you the truth.
And IF you decide to cancel the purchase, it is another hell they make you go through... According to their website it says that the refund processing time is between 10 to 15 business days but that is not true...
You send an email claiming the shipping or the refund and you always receive the same response... Be more patient and wait... as if it wasn't enough with the 3 months that have passed since you paid them for something that they haven't even sent you.
Terrible Company. It's a real SCAM

PS: After the seller tried to remove this review, I was finally able to prove with documents and email the veracity of my words, and so my review has been published again. The truth always appears, even if sometimes they try to hide it...
