"Incredibly POOR SERVICE!"

Incredibly POOR SERVICE: I received a letter from Interparcel about a claim that they mishandled with UPS. UPS had damaged an item in the U.S., and accepted responsibility for the damage, and approved the claim within days...great service. Interparcel bungled the claim with UPS, and when I called this morning to find out why, the agent WOULD NOT transfer me to the claims manager, her supervisor, nor to the complaints department, changing her story each time. So the only way I was told that I can communicate is by static email, which as we all know is a far cry from talking out a problem with a human being with authority. (Not only did the agent NOT have any authority to handle this complaint, she couldn't even transfer me to someone who supposedly does have authority.) This complete lack of customer service is unconscionable, and demonstrates a serious lack of respect for customers. The true test of a business is how they respond to a situation when things go wrong; Interparcel not only poorly managed this claim on my behalf, they completely mishandled every "Moment of Truth" in dealing with this problem. Why would anyone want to use their service knowing that when things go wrong, Interparcel goes missing in action and service, leaving the customer in the lurch. My advice: don't use Interparcel! Ship direct with any reputable shipper like UPS, FedEx, DHL, even AusPost, which they use anyway...they don't have their own operation. Thumbs down in every way.

Interparcel were extremely kind and patient. I had to deliver multiple gift boxes to multiple locations across Australia for a campaign and they were extremely helpful and guided us through the process.

"This is the worst parcel company i have…"

This is the worst parcel company i have ever send a parcel through. I booked the parcel for a date which was a tv in its original box with all the safety on tuesday 4th march 2021, and they did not show up. Had to book another date adjusting all the schedules. Then even on the pick up date I had to call them as a reminder. The tv was badly damaged. They make you pay transit warranty amount which said goods will be covered for loss and damage but later on when you try to claim they will say its under prohibitted item. If its under prohibitted item why would they accept it? I would not reccomend inter parcel to anyone.

"Total rubbish service"

In all my years of business Interparcel has to be the worst couriers ever. I made a booking and paid for collection on Tuesday, 2nd March 2021 courier arrived on Monday the 1st when no one was there, thats why I booked Tuesday. After many calls and live chats stating this was urgent as the people were leaving. I received the usual "we don't care" promises the package would be picked up.. first on Wednesday, 'we promise'..nope! I called on Thursday, 'the courier will be there today,'..nope! and finally Friday, but no sight of the courier. Speaking with the manager in Brisbane was also useless. She didn't keep her promise either. Today is Saturday and as it stands my package is still waiting for the pickup with a deadline of Monday lunchtime or it goes to the tip.
I have never written such a bad review for any company, however, Interparcel has eaten its cake with my business.
* Regarding Interparcel's response...A team leader did not try and reach out. Don't be fooled.

"Thank you Interparcel! It was easy and no fuzz at all"

Given the last unpleasant experience and stress of filling out forms on the spot at Australia Post in sending small parcels to my family in Singapore, and then took more than 3 weeks for it to deliver, I have decided to google for a better solution. Interparcel was on the search results and the prices are competitive. The setup was painless. The courier picked up my parcel on Monday and it was delivered on Friday in Singapore at the front door just like that! I was very impressed at the speed and service. I should have used Interparcel for previous deliveries but I am so happy that I no longer have to do long queues and see the sour faces on the staff at Australia Post!! Thank you Interparcel you have made my day

"Avoid! Took EIGHT WEEKS to deliver a single parcel!"

Took EIGHT WEEKS to deliver a parcel which should have taken ONE week! This meant my family received their Christmas gifts in February!
Extremely disappointed in the service. Never received a call back despite being told by multiple different staff throughout the eight weeks that they would keep me updated and call back. They just fobbed me off and were no help whatsoever. I will never use their services again and advise others to avoid.

"Epic Fail"

Epic Fail. A classic combination of incompetent/untrained employees and clueless/lazy management.
I first chose Interparcel as I wanted to narrow down the couriers who would allow a lithium battery in the package. By way of their website quotation system, the radio box option is "Does your parcel contain a lithium battery". Perfect, I am in the right place. So I thought. (Note the wording. "Does the parcel contain", not "Is the battery contained in equipment"...)
I completed the online process and paid for the service. I was then given a lithium battery declaration type document to download. This was the first fail. Trying to download the document returned the error "Missing post code". Huh ? How does my postcode have any bearing on downloading a document?

In the document, there are various tickboxes to select the nature of the batteries, which boils down to : Loose batteries, and those contained in equipment.
Right at the end of the document is a sentence in red. "Shipment can only contain batteries in equipment".
Is this a typo I wonder?

Excellent, nothing like 1 page document where the first half contradicts the second half. So I call customer service and speak to the aforementioned untrained staff member. I go thru the document with this person (who the whole time sounds rather annoyed that I have interrupted their day with my dumb questions). The person assures me that I can send batteries not contained in equipment.
Smelling a rat, I also email customer service, to which a different person responds, saying I may not include such batteries.

Key takeaway points for the management at Interparcel:

1) Train your staff
2) For a document as important as the lithium battery declaration, :
a) Make sure the download actually works
b) Don't be so damn lazy when you update a document, strike out the sections which are no longer valid.
c) Update your website radio box selection for "Does it contain Lithium batteries" to actually reflect the true state.

So champions, where am I compensated for all my time taken and wasted in this exercise?

I am 1000% sure that this review will result in zero corrective action at Interparcel, but hey, that is the state of business in 2021.

"Terrible service"

I arranged a parcel to be delivered to Russia, but it was returned to Australia after 6 months. Not only did they refuse to refund the postage or any delay compensation, they also charges additional 'return to sender fee'. Basically, I ended up paying $50 for nothing and have the parcel delayed for 6 months. Job well done, Interparcel!

"No tech support, they have vacation"

Sorry to leave such a bad review, but if you close the company for a week and don't have any technical support for something important. This is what you get.

Webshops depend on your service and you can't let people wait for a week because your on holiday.
