I received the most stunning marble side table but not only would I rate the furniture five stars, the customer experience I received was faultless too. I received a quick response to my delivery query and the delivery driver was great with communication also.

They sent me a lovey smelling diffuser for being a good return customer.
Now tell me another company that does that.

I purchased two matching RV Astley oval lampshades from this company, and I’m extremely disappointed with the quality and customer service. The seams on each lampshade are in completely different positions, which looks like a clear manufacturing error. When the lamps are turned on, the seams are visible, and due to the oval shape, they can’t be adjusted or hidden.

Despite this, the company has refused to offer a refund, instead accusing me of squishing the lampshades! They are claiming the lampshades are actually circular and I squished them to be oval! Absolutely ridiculous! How would that even be possible!

I even sent photos showing that this was not the case that lampshades are in perfect condition and have not been touched and offered to send a video to prove it, but they still refused to take responsibility.

Their poor customer service and refusal to address obvious defects mean I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. Think twice before purchasing anything from here!

UPDATE: regarding the issue I previously raised about the incorrect shades being sent and the manufacturing flaw.

After numerous emails back and forth, I am pleased to confirm that the situation has been fully resolved. The correct steps were taken, and I have received a refund for the faulty items.

I recently found Shropshire Design after another company I had bought from cancelled my order due to long wait times. The experience couldn't have been more different. Shropshire kept their promises and both matched the cheaper price I had previously paid and delivered much faster than the timescale shown on their web pages. The customer service team was reassuring when I called especially as I was nervous following my experience with the other company. The Richmond Interiors dining table is better than I had expected and the delivery man who was employed by Shropshire was friendly and courteous, making sure he was careful when delivering into my home after it had been pouring with rain outside and the boxes and he was dripping wet. He also gave me a two hour timeslot (not typical these days) and was right on time. The whole process was easy, hassle free and enjoyable. Thank you - 5 STARS *****
