"FAULTY ITEM SOLD & POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE "
I purchased a Cuckoo multi-cook machine expecting a high-quality product, but it turned out to be a complete disappointment. The front faceplate started lifting after just a week of use, clearly a manufacturing defect. I contacted customer service to resolve the issue, but they were unwilling to help initially and made the entire process unnecessarily difficult. After much back and forth, they finally provided a return label — which didn’t even work at the post office! This wasted my time, and when I informed them of the issue, they just told me to try again, showing no regard for the inconvenience caused.
The product is expensive, yet poorly made, and the customer service is absolutely abysmal. I regret this purchase and would advise others to avoid this company. Save your time and money!

I bought a transmitter and a sensor in connection with a home weather station previously bought and made in Germany. They were a reasonable price and work perfectly and to make the buy even better they were delivered quickly.

Product delivery and customs clearance to the UK is good, and delivery is timely. But if you have *any* concern that the warranty should be provided, this is NOT the company to use.
I spent over £1,500 with them, and the product arrived in perfect condition, but did not work. A manufacturer fault.
After about a week of emails, they agreed to have me return the item.
Except they would not say whether I would get a refund or replacement.
I repeatedly asked, and they (included the Managing Director) repeatedly said they were waiting for the manufacturer. Though the warranty is with Sotel, not the manufacturer.
In the end, I was only able to get a refund by opening a dispute with PayPal (thankfully) which I won because Sotel had ignored all my requests for a refund.
The process of getting the refund took nearly 2 months.
If you're spending any significant amount of money, I'd strongly avoid using this company. Their support was poor and I wish I had checked more of the reviews across different platforms - because MANY others say the same thing.
A real low point was the MD of Sotel sending my own review (after not getting anywhere with refund or return) in a email -> (unable to provide screenshot as it was requested to be removed)

Great price Ordered SIP phone on Sunday evening, was shipped on Tuesday and was delivered by 13.15 on Friday. Great price and had availability, unlike a number of UK stores. Shipping from Germany was very reasonable and cheaper than some UK stores. Would use again.
