I love the system, even though the settings get a little complicated and could use some pop-up explanations or examples to show when to turn something on or off.
What I hate is that the cameras do not show up on HomeKit!
I understand that there may be a different cost for Abode to do so. So then make another version for Apple users!

The free version of abode is extremely misleading. The alerts you receive in the free version don’t provide any indication as to what device is triggered rendering the system useless unless you pay.

I like the simple installation, and relatively low price. But I’ve been disappointed in the performance of the cameras, and the fact that I’ve had to replace two of them when they failed.
Finally, the cost of the monitoring service when I started with Abode was great. Particularly the on-demand option. But that cost has more than doubled and makes me much less likely to recommend Abode to my friends.

The tech support is very responsive and stay with you until your issue is resolved. Instructions are clear and easy to follow.

The company advertises that "App Access and Mobile Notifications" are Free. What is not being said is that the free notifications will tell you tell you that a sensor is has disconnected, or that a battery in a sensor is dead, etc. In these cases you will get “An event has occurred in the Abode System”. Useful notifications are offered only for a monthly fee.

Hardware is buggy and app is clunky. Abode was highly recommended but the doorbell doesn't work, customizing notifications is difficult, and the app is just overall of a poor quality.

"Customer Support Offers No Support"
I have asked 2 years in a row to take services removed from my account and am told every year they have been take off (over $300). Just to be charged again the next year. Customer support offers no help, demanding screenshots of the conversation since their customer support platform apparently doesn't save conversations. Very disappointing. Ring just got a new customer.
