"A once trusted resource has failed me terribly."

You have failed at every turn to address the embarrassing Japanese captions you did for my global documentary and its Tokyo premiere. Order CP0656300251 I now have Japanese colleagues who concur your work was completed so incorrectly as to be laughable. I had to commission and pay for the work to be redone. I am still looking for a refund.

"Really bad customer service"

Really bad customer service. I got an additional charge that I shouldn’t have ever got and I couldn’t get it removed. They sent me one email trying to tell me it was my fault and then just ignored any further emails from me. The transcripts are good, but there are plenty of places offering transcripts that I’m sure have better customer service And aren’t looking to put hidden charges on their customers like a bank charging overdraft fees.

"Unreliable Service and Poor Quality Control"

I had high hopes for Rev after an outstanding first transcription that exceeded expectations. However, my recent experience was nothing short of disappointing. The quality of transcription has gone downhill significantly, with careless errors and an apparent lack of effort.

Despite escalating the issue, their Quality Assurance team dismissed my concerns, blaming "verbatim" guidelines as an excuse for sloppy work. Even senior management seemed clueless about resolving the problem. I had to spend time fixing the errors myself, completely defeating the purpose of outsourcing the task.

While they offered a small refund, it didn’t address the real issue: their inability to provide consistent, professional-grade service. I've lost confidence in Rev and have already taken my business elsewhere. If you're looking for reliability and quality, I suggest you do the same.

"Decreasing audibility, so not as pleasurable as before."

I have done freelance transcription with Rev.com for years. Sadly, I've found the audio files available to claim are decreasing in audibility over the last few months, despite the fact that I've downloaded various audio apps to enhance clarity etc, so income has decreased substantially. I used to think that low reviews mentioning difficulty etc were odd, but after getting knocked down from Rev+ status myself by a single harsh grading, I understand.

"Betrug mit geleakten Kreditkartendaten!!"

Beim Abo-Kauf bzw. der Eingabe meiner Daten auf rev.com wurden meine Kreditkartendaten an Betrüger weitergegeben. Entweder hat rev.com MASSIVE SICHERHEITSLÜCKEN, sodass diese Daten geleakt werden ODER es passiert absichtlich und sie VERKAUFEN die KREDITKARTENDATEN. Meine Kreditkartendaten sind nun international bei Betrügern im Umlauf. Ich habe meine Karte sofort sperren lassen, nachdem ich unautorisierte Transaktions-Versuche auf meiner Karte entdeckt hatte. Bei mir hat es damit begonnen, dass jemand versucht hat bei mygiftcardsupply - eine Plattform, die ich bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt gar nicht kannte - etwas mit meiner Karte zu bezahlen. Danach folgten innerhalb von 15 min weitere Versuche auf anderen Verkaufsplattformen.

Der Witz an der Sache bzw. am rev.com-Abonnement-Kauf ist, dass ich das Abo schlussendlich nicht abschließen konnte. Beim Bestellprozess wurde 1$ von rev.com auf meiner Karte vorgemerkt, was ich im Verlauf der Kreditkartenbewegungen sehe. Allerdings kam danach beim Bezahlvorgang auf rev.com immer wieder die Fehlermeldung, dass meine Karte - die zumindest in Europa überall funktioniert - nicht verwendet werden kann. Ich habe dann den Kundenservice kontaktiert und gefragt, ob ich stattdessen mit Paypal bezahlen kann. Das wurde verneint und ich bekam - an und für sich gute - Ratschläge, nämlich ich solle den Cache leeren, den Browser wechseln oder eine andere Karte verwenden. Leider habe ich dann aus Gutgläubigkeit eine zweite Kreditkarte verwendet, die auch gesperrt werden musste, da es auch hier zu den genau gleichen Problemen mit Kreditkarten-Betrügern kam.

Wie der Transkriptionsservice ist, kann ich nicht sagen, da ich kein Abo kaufen konnte. Aber die "Nebenkosten" sind immens, wenn die Kreditkartendaten so leicht in Betrügerhände gelangen.

"Disappointing customer service - watch out"

Disappointing customer service - be wary!
Rev.com's customer service team seem adept at ensuring you can not redeem coupons or get a partial refund in the event of a technical issue at their end.
The fact that they don't even reply to negative reviews explains how much they value their customers.

"Today I visited Revs for a bottomless…"

Today I visited Revs for a bottomless brunch, to celebrate my daughters A Level results.
Our server, Daniel, was the happiest, loveliest guy ever. He was attentive and very approachable. He has absolutely made my daughter’s day and he deserves a medal!!!! A massive thank you to him for this experience xx
