My experience was good from the start with Brook Hellie, providing estimates that were reasonable and working with my client who couldn’t make up their mind on exactly what they wanted to do, so I appreciate him having the patience and giving my client the ability to change things multiple times to help them feel comfortable.

Our PM Holly Mikus, understands the sensitive issue of how homeowners feel having strangers/ contractors in the home and was very accommodating and worked around an ever changing schedule for my client. She handled some issues my client had without pause and just made it right no questions asked.

"Horrible Experience"

If possible, I would rate this company with less than a one star rating. The work was terrible, they took two years and the job was never finished. Curbio charged thousands of dollars in excess of the work that was actually proven to be completed. The project ended up leaving the house in worse condition that its original state. They stopped working on the property, which caused months of delays and permits were canceled by the City due to violations without any notification from Curbio. There was a complete lack of integrity (proven) upon communicating w/ employees and leadership. I would never suggest this company moving forward.

Please do not ever use this c ompany. We are currently under a contract to the tune of 54 thousand dollars . For a 1200 Sq ft home. We needed flooring and paint and 2 refurbished bathrooms, deck work, and an appliance or 2 around the home and a cornice in the kitchen. We then requested blinds which they obviously forgot or didn't care to out in with their 3d scan the first time they gave us a quote. And without anyone there from the company to look at things we were quoted 52k. Now after they hire a gc to do the bidding and hire other workers from wherever they can find they will.claim a walk-through and a finish date. Close to the finishing our workers decided to spray paint the receptacles to match the paint. After trying to fix the deck piers( which 2 of the 4 were undeveloped and still.crooked to this day) they still recognized the issue and claim it will.be fixed. Then the wrong size vanity came in. The wrong color microwave was delivered. And then so called work manager didn't even buy a name brand unit to match our brand new Samsung stove. Now moving forward to why I'm calling the BBB and probably the local news station is that we asked for 2 run of the mill ceiling fans to be purchased and installed .(just found out they are not even accredited by the BBB )They quoted us 1,500 us dollars to buy and install 2 ceilings that cost 200$ after taxes. So that's a 1,000 in labor. Are you crazy. Anyone please call an electrician and ask. I don't even need to provide proof here..it's clearly exorbitant. Then I asked about the receptacles the workers had painted and we need about 30 of them for the home. They cost 5$ each... They quoted us 1775$$$$$$ to install and buy 30 light/switch receptacles.. so that's 1600$$$ for a electricians helper to do a job which can be done before lunch. I know this becasue I used to install residential and commercial lighting. They think I am stupid or they actually just rip people off like this all the time that don't know any better. Oh yeah and the flooring company they hired screwed up our floors and it had to be redone. So again that's empire floorings problem they they can't follow directions either. Now they charge us for a contract due at a certain time. So this company uses their own money to hire these people while charging you 100% return on their money. I will go to grest lengths to have them investigate for fraud and general irresponsible unethical behavior as a company. And this was just the bad points of the job. The good one was they fired 5 people over the course of 1 month. Who knows how much we would be behind schedule if that didn't happen. Becasue our time and value of mo ey does not mean anything to this company

Curbio got the job done and was convenient since they paid for everything until settlement, but communication on expectations for the scope of work was poor. Make sure you know exactly what is needed for your project. Otherwise, you will find yourself frustrated.
