I love busykid. I can see every transaction that my daughter purchased. Especially, when she's doing chores.

I love savings and investing so that my daughter knows how to manage money.

The customer service is great, the owner literally contact me to solve my issue in which her card was lost/misplaced which is great!

I highly recommend.

"It started good but it’s turned into a…"

It started good but it’s turned into a money grab for BusyKid. I would rather give my kids the money than pay the fess. Ther are plenty of other companies that do this for free.

"Poor service when fraud happens"

The difference between my bank card and this card when fraud happens is significant! Once I reported the fraudulent charges I had to file a dispute for each one which took weeks and all that time my son was out the money stolen from him. I suggest looking at other cards.

"Good product but expensive for just one child"

All in all, Busy Kid works well for what we need it for. We mostly use it for an auto allowance and to load a set budget for spending for things like gifts stores when we are on vacation or back to school shopping.

My one complaint is that the cost is steep for anyone who just has one kid. I wish there was a single child option. This would be a much better deal if I had three or more kids.

We like how BusyKid makes it easy to give our daughter her allowance automatically.
We approve any money transferred to her spending card (immediately available). It also allows her to reimburse us if she doesn’t have her card and wants us to buy something.
We can also review her transactions and she can see how she is spending her money.
She gets a good foundation for how to manage her money.

My family absolutely loves busy kid! It has taught my kids responsibility and most importantly, the value of a dollar. Now, all of a sudden, they aren’t wanting every item in the store. When it is their “own money”, they think about the item and if it is worth it. I tell everyone about busy kid! I’m so happy that they are learning about money so young.
