The money never came off my card
It was scheduled for the 15th of this month to come off and it wind up saying that it was going to come off the 17th and it never came off and it still wanted to charge me 84 cents each transaction already paid for 3 months so I wouldn't have to pay the change not happy with this busy kid thing

When I first got the cards I thought I could transfer funds from my account to my kids cards and it would be there immediately but you cannot do that and when I realize that I called customer service and no one has yet to respond to me or give me a call back

This makes it so much easier to follow through with chores and allowance. It has been very motivating to my son who can go on his phone and track how much money he is earning.

Busy Kid was the perfect way for my daughter to learn about earning, saving and spending in a safe environment. The app is very user friendly, and the customer service was very helpful! Scott S. assisted me throughout our entire experience with Busy Kid, and provided prompt service. He was very kind and made sure our needs were always taken care of. I have encouraged many of my friends to try this option because the app/program is so comprehensive, yet so easy to use.

This is such a great idea. It keeps my daughter engaged in chores and lets her watch her money grow.

"What we like and don't like"

What we like: Great chores to pick from, also the ability to add chores and that everything is editable as well as being able to insert photos. IE: Chicken Chores with our own Chicken photo. We like that the chore amounts to be paid are editable as well. We're not a family that's going to pay $2.00 for our child showering, so that is a great feature.
Why we've given it 3 stars: Cannot edit paydays, doesn't keep a running allowance to be paid if you don't pay on the 1st and 15th - which in our family we don't. We pay bi-weekly (like we are paid). We don't like the function that is built in that allows us to pay the "missed payday" - we also do not like this membership to use the app needs to be paid upfront for a year. Some families cannot afford that. You may not believe it's a large upfront cost for some families, but it is and that shouldn't deter a family from trying to incorporate the value of money. We also tried to use the BusyKid cards at a POS and use the debit function and the pin # doesn't work. When we received the cards it said that the pin # is the last 4 digits of the main phone # that registered the account, either we are wrong or there is a glitch with this. We also give it 3 stars because we're not necessarily wanting to invest in the stock market, use the save option (which we find unclear on what that option actually is) and there will be a max of $2K the cards can hold (which seems unclear as well and if that's divided between all categories). I suppose at that point we'll just move the money to a banking system so that the children can continue to be paid for their chores.
We have continued to use this chore app as it has been something our (11 & 8) year olds have enjoyed and has held us all responsible for our parts of being a family unit.
I have recommended the app and find it is useful - but some tweaking of the app would also be useful.
