"Rude"

I called twice and both representative were rude and not helpful. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was hung up on both times. I will no longer be using this product.

I’ve been having trouble figuring things out. Like loading money to the spend account. Having trouble with my daughter using the pin. I feel like it needs a little more work. Simplicity

The best thing about the card is that it allows my son to make online purchases without using my credit card or PayPal while me having control over what he spends. I load the amount he needs and there's no fear of him making accidental purchases or having my cc # stored on his devices.
Completing chores to earn allowance is a great motivator.

Needed customer service bc of app issue to set up, but after that all good- they were great at helping and responded quickly. Very easy to use, kiddo likes checking off chores!

I did receive an answer in a very timely manner. The answer did not directly address the issue I had, but it did give me an alternative to get my child paid.

UPDATE: Mike did contact me directly to address my concern. Customer service at BusyKid is very attentive and I appreciate that very much!

This app is fantastic!! I was certain it would lose its luster after a few days but we have been using the app for almost a month and it's been a huge success!! Thank you for such a great tool!

I've had a couple of glitches in using BusyKid. Maybe user error, maybe app, I don't know. Regardless of the reason, customer service was always excellent - quick responses and going the extra mile to help. Cindy was especially great!

I really like the pricing structure and the automatic distribution of allowance for spending, saving/investing (and having the option of a savings match like many 401Ks have), and giving. I feel that it really helps to teach financial responsibility.
Here is where I think BusyKid can improve:
- More charity options in the list or the ability to have my child choose the charity that I can approve.
- Drastically improve the chore scheduling feature to add more conditions and variables. This "BusyMom" would like to set up the chores once and not have to check and modify them each week. Here is what would be great to have:
* Allow the assignment of a single chore to rotate between kids based on the day of the week. For example, if I want to have each of my 3 kids vacuum one day a week on different days, I have to create the chore 3 different times.
* Have the ability to set a repeat to happen every other week (you can have a chore repeat daily, weekly, or monthly).

- Have a daily reminder notification to remind kids to do their chores.

I feel that if they really work on making the chore area of their app more robust, BusyKid will be leaps and bounds ahead of all of their competition by a mile!

Not sure what happened to the $20 I’m supposed to get for signing up with my friend’s link. Other than that, it’s great.

Edited to add that I see the response from the company. Prior to writing this review, I had seen the $20 pending in my activity when I first signed up, but then it disappeared completely. I could not find any record of it. After I received a response from the company I went back and the pending $20 was back in my activity list. I’ll add a star to my review, thanks!
