"Sneaky and deceptive company - avoid!"

This company seems to deliberately employ tactics to take advantage of customer who aren't on guard and looking for changes to their bills. What they are doing is not illegal, AFAIK, but definitely unethical and sneaky. Basically, once you've signed up with them at an agreed price (which is normally expressed in comparison to the reference rate for electricity) they will just send out an email which will state that the price is changing. In our case our price was adjusted from a price below the reference rate to 42.5% above it, a more than 250% increase. I could not find another provide charging that much regardless of plan, and it's hard to find a provider offering a rate above the reference rate (other than "greenpower" or similar), so to be 42.5% above it just blatantly excessive. If you deal with this company you will need to be on guard at all times. Check every bill, compare it to the last one, because if you just ignore them and trust that the company is doing the right thing and will remain reasonably competitive over time you will be unpleasantly surprised.

"Debt collector threatened when bill 2 days overdue"

Blue NRG sent out letter of demand and referral to a debt collector, was sent out when bill was 2 days overdue at time of issuing letter of demand

The bill was issued 07/10/2022 and due 26/102022 for $22.51

The letter of demand was sent 28/10/2022 for $22.51

After reading the reply (you still did not understand the issue - It had nothing to do with the amount, it was due to the timing - 2 days after bill was due a demand letter sent out).
