"GENIALITA'.Prendere i soldi senza dare l'auto"

Soldi estratti dalla Carta di Credito instantaneamente alla fase di prenotazione.
Però, sorpresa, auto non disponibile al momento del ritiro. Motivo? Un paio di ore di ritardo rispetto all'orario previsto hanno incentivato alla GENIALITÀ, noleggiare la stessa auto anche ad un altro cliente. Furbi ad ottimizzare i guadagni. Bravissimi, applausi!
Nella delusione e nel disagio ti aspetteresti almeno il rimborso, macché! Una vera GENIALITÀ non prevede rimborsi. E sembra anche giusto, altrimenti che GENIALITÀ è? Se poi la GENIALITÀ è a scapito di uno studente che ha infuso risorse economiche importanti, la GENIALITÀ diventa, purtroppo, un infamia!
Nota: Ho letto e riletto un milione di volta le condizioni, non c'è nessun riferimento che un possibile ritardo (di qualche ora) potesse determinare la perdita della prenotazione e i relativi soldi investiti.

Charged 573.40 euro for 1 flat tire on small Fiat Panda
I so wanted to give this company 5 stars as some aspects of the rental was great.

1. Booking online was easy and quick to do. Saying that is you want to make changes to your booking (like add an extra day which we wanted to do) we were told to cancel the existing booking and then make another booking.

2. Online check in was OK but the system was not very user friendly and uploading documents could be tricky.

3. Upon arrival at Fiumicino we were surprised to hear that the hire company was not actually on site as advertised but a 5 minute drive away. It us only after we returned our car that we were informed of a free shuttle.

4. Staff at Fiumicino are super friendly, reliable and efficient and can't fault them at all.

5. We paid 440 euro for 10 day hire car including premium insurance with maximum excess of 200 euros which we thought was a very reasonable price. It is only once we ran into problems (flat tire) that we were told this was NOT included under the insurance.

6. Now the bit that has caused upset. We got a flat tire on our last day on our way back to return the car. This happened literally 2 miles from venue so we changed it to the spare wheel and returned the car. We were told someone would ring us with the charge for the wheel as it was not included in the comprehensive insurance we opted for. No contact was made but I noticed and extra 281 euros taken from my account on top of the 200 euro deposit held. When I queried this I was sent an invoice 12 days after returning the car. It was only a small Fiat Panda but we got charged 573.40 euro for the one flat tire.
Not only were we charged for the flat tire but it is also apparently customary to fully replaced the spare tire (which we used for less than 2 miles!) as well at the same price as a normal tire.

I find this charge completely unacceptable and we were not told this at any point during our checkout or return. We were specifically told the charge would be for the flat tire only.

Another thought is the environmental impact of discarding a perfect, hardly used spare tire? Surely as a company this must be quite a regular thing to happen so we could be taking about 100s of tires.

Now of course if they were situated at the airport (as advertised) and not off site this would never have happened but that is a whole other can of worms!

"Not recommended"

I can only confirm what many others have written: do not book with Green Motion Napoli. We were charged a huge extra amount on our credit card without justification. Our repeated requests for proof of damage and repair costs remain unanswered. We filed a complaint with the European Consumer Centre (national office) and recommend other victims to do the same (ecc.net.eu). Strongly recommend to avoid and rent elsewhere (even if a bit more expensive).

"Do not pay in advance through the greenmotion website"

We booked through the website and paied online in advance. Two days later we arrived at Bergamo airport, and we could not find the office, there is no label with GREEN MOTION identification.
We have to ask the information desk and they pointed us to another office. The person at the desk was not friendly to the people in front of us, what was already a warning.

To our surprise he requested we pay the full amount ( again).
In his system it was mentioned to be paid at the desk and that it was not arleady done. We showed him we alreday paid and he did not belive it, the solution he offered was to pay the deposit and sign a contract where shows the amount still needed to be paid.

we refuse to accept that knowing that if you sign a contract where is mentioned you should pay , they will charge us 2 times.
We try to call costumer service in UK but the only answer is to send an email. we did not continue with the booking because it did not feel right. very disappointing with the company and the franchise in Bergamo. Not high hopes in getting the money back! still fighting for it.

Travel to the airport with two kids, lost the full day, no rent car, lost the money and other expenses related, like going to the airport. Until now horrible experience!!!

Le auto green Motion si acquistano tramite siti di broker di diverso genere, dove vengono mostrati a prezzi molto vantaggiosi.
Sfruttano la visibilità online di questi portali per poi farvi intendere che sono truffe e far pagare il doppio al ritiro. La modalità è dichiarare che il noleggio acquistato non copre nulla, nemmeno la responsabilità civile, che eventuali assicurazioni aggiuntive non sono valide perché per avere i rimborsi è necessario far intervenire la polizia e rimane sotto inteso che sono intenzionati a far pagare (tanto) qualsiasi difetto la macchina possa avere al rientro. Non vi avvicinate, io sono curiosa di vedere gli addebiti totali che riceverò a fine del noleggio iniziato ieri a Porto

"Be prepared to be charged"

(Rome Fiumicino, Seat Ibiza)
I had to pay 357 euros for a very small scratch that I didn't make on the mirror next to it, which was almost 10 times bigger. I think that's how much the mirror costs together with the replacement. After exchanging several emails and photos, in which the scratch was not there before or after the rental. I claim that it appeared after I returned the car. They wrote that they carried out due diligence, all requirements were met, they are fine and blah blah and end of story

After my wonderful trip with this trustworthy company, I have a few tips for you.

If you absolutely want to rent a car from them, then:
1. Do it very slowly (I know, I know - everyone is in a hurry when traveling)
2. If they say that something cannot be accurately documented in the report and don't worry and such - don't trust them. Compare the report with the damage to the car and mark the defects if necessary.
3. Better take very good quality pictures and video of the rental car, especially the places that are already damaged/scratched. Inch by inch. If there is one scratch, take a picture of the scratch that is close to the first one. Send them everything
4. When returning - do the same.
5. Be prepared to be charged for anything that is not thoroughly documented.

Ci hanno addebitato costi di danni INVENTATI. Non ci cadete MAI, sono truffatori che continuano a spillare soldi dalla vostra carta di credito, se ci cadete.

"Avoid this company at all costs"

Avoid this company at all costs! They are thieves. They charged us an extra £1,500 claiming there was a scratch on the windowsill. There wasn’t, and we took pictures and videos before and after. Problem is they already withdrew the money in advance - and that’s on top of the £1000 we paid for rental.

"Pessima esperienza "

Noleggio auto che mi è stato proposto da Ryanair al momento della prenotazione per Londra Stansted
È stata una pessima scelta.
Le condizioni per il noleggio che si leggono all'inizio parlano di essere patentato da almeno 2 anni e una carta di credito che non scada dopo 2 mesi dalla consegna dell auto e che sia intestata al guidatore.
Arrivato sul posto però ho scoperto che la mia american express non era accettata, GPay no, Apple pay no, contanti no, assegno no, prepagate no, carta di debito no etc. L'unica cosa che viene accettata è la carta di credito Mastercard o la visa.
Poi hanno cercato di contrattare
Volevano 400 sterline in più e 125 di deposito.
Poi 300 e 200 di deposito
E così via al ribasso per tutte le volte che si diceva di no.
Alla fine siamo andati via senza l'auto ma perdendo il 50% di quello che avevamo già pagato
