Liars, scammers & false promises thats when they answer the phone. Missold me a business account for 36 month. The iphone 11 i recieved out of the box had 82% battery health, and has never worked the phone has never had any sound. Promised to send me replacement phone & even told one was in post to fob me off. No chance now as year warranty has expired. Cant wait intill contract ends i will never be back with these or o2.

"CHEATING FRAUDS!!!!"

This is by far the worst company I have had to deal with in my 60 years.
They are fraudulent, liars and the most unhelpful company I have ever dealt with.
I am a consumer and they missold me a Business account without my knowledge. They take no responsibility and pass the buck with every opportunity.I have passed on my experience to O2 and hopefully they will see sense and rid themselves of this cheating company. It really doesn't do O2 any favours and blackens the O2 name. DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS CHEATING, THIEVING COMPANY!!!

"AVOID!!!"

AVOID!!!!

I have had a contract through Crown Communications for years. The price was crippling and I decided to go else where. I rang on the 28th January to double check when my contract would end and the man told me 24th February, i told him i would NOT be renewing and i will be going with someone else. 24th came and I got a new contract. I rang o2 to get the pac number on the 25th to be told that Crown communications had renewed my contract until Sept 2026. This is without my consent and after I had told them I wouldn't be staying with them. O2 informed me if I left the contract early I would be liable of a £1,100payment for early end. Trying to call crown to cancel as im well with in my 14 day cooling off period and low and behold I cant get through. I've try the form and ive tried calling and leaving messages and nothing.
Im now going to Trading standards. Please avoid at all costs!

"Avoid Crown Communications. "

I am having nightmare experience with my Crown Communications, O2 mobile contract that should have ended 21/10/2024.

October 2021 I was phoned by Crown Communications and convinced to have a mobile contract with them at a time when we were totally short staffed on the older person medicine ward I work on unable to give people daily physio so I was to stressed to think clearly. I have paperwork for the 36 month contract starting October 2021. I was told I would get good storage mobile, I was sent one with low storage which had to be sent back and after lot complaining different mobile sent, an Samsung A90.
I was phoned October 2023 and asked if I wanted to replace the mobile or pay less per month, I presume that was the 36 month contract I had which started October 2021 and ended October 2024, I opted to pay less and keep same mobile, no mention of extending contract, no extra paper work sent, so thought contract still ended 21/10/24..
May 2024 I had letter from O2 which made me realise I had a small business contract which was confusing as I work for NHS and I was paying over £33 a month. I tried and failed to contact Crown Communications so I contacted O2. I went through complaints procedure about the high monthly cost but got no where, no help from Crown Communications or O2.

I decided I was stuck, trapped until 21st October 2024 when the 36 month contract ended so I accepted the expense of over £30 a month for basically a sim only deal with intention of escape to different network when contract ended 21/10/24. Most of my friends and family are paying half what I am paying per month and thier contracts includes a up to date mobile. I have had the same Samsung A90 since October 2021.

I was upset when I got my PUK CODE 31st October 2024 to find out O2 want over £600 to let me escape from O2 and Crown Communications. I thought the contract ended October 2024 so no payment would be needed. £600 is ridiculous when I do not even have a mobile phone with them that is worth anywhere near that and I would have thought I would have paid off the mobile I got October 2021 as it was just an Samsung A90 which is wearing out. I spoke to O2 then someone from Crown Communications Thursday morning 31st October 2024, explained, he sounded helpful said he would ring later that morning, nobody called me back. Crown Communications seem impossible to communicate with they never reply to e mails or ring back.

I eventually had phone call from Crown Communications Thursday 7th November morning, he said he was meeting with his manager Thursday afternoon to discuss situation and he would ring me with update, so far as expected no phone call and no update and it is now 12th November.
He admitted I had been put on extended contract for extra 36 months October 2023, I said I had not been informed of this, I had not been sent any undated paperwork, not signed anything, he said he and manager were going to listen to recording of the October 2023 phone call.
Crown Communications man has sent me last three invoices from O2 so I have more idea what I am paying for and he suggested I download the O2 app.
On average I am paying about £33 to £35 a month for a sim only deal with unlimitedcalls/texts/6gb data, when y check Crown Communications website sim only deals are £10 to £21 so I do not know why I am paying extra.
Trading standards office are being very helpful and supportive trying to find a solution.
Eventually I will have to go to the Communications Ombudsman

"Would be NO STARS if available!"

Would be NO STARS if available!
Have been trying for months to clarify my contract situation. They have been as much use as a glass eye in the fog. They now appear to be as cheesed off as I am about me phoning (23 times today before getting an answer!). He (Jacob) was clearly disinterested in the conversation and was fobbing me off with the same old drivel, "I will check and get back to you". Guess what, they NEVER get back. Avoid this company at all costs.

"Do not touch"

Everything, they pray on people of old age and practice hard sell methods to secure vulnerable people into extending their contracts. They threaten their customers with beliefs that will be sent by O2 to their property if they don't carry on paying a contract that has ended. They then state that if the customer doesn't sign up to another new contract for 3 years that they will not be able to keep their number. Then when they have been clearly instructed not to contact the person anymore that this is ignored and they continue to contact the engaging in hard sell practices. Avoid at all costs.

"Rand me up claiming to be from O2 "

Rand me up claiming to be from O2 and offer me a better deal. I questioned a lot of things and was given the usual drivel, I was happy to proceed at £12 per month which was a £3 saving - 5 months on Im paying nearly £20 for less phone usage. My direct debits have never worked and have to pay manually which is a pain. Rang O2 direct to complain only to be told Im under contract with this scammy company.. I repeat DO NOT sign up with them !!! It should be Illegal to pretend to be someone else and sell them a dirty contract

"Lies, lies, lies"

Crown communications contacted me pretending to be from 3 mobile and they told me lots of lies and I stupidly listened and signed the new contract with O2 which was for 3 years I was told it was for 1 year. Also my bill went up by £5 a month. Lessons learnt always read the contract.

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY"

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I was 'tricked' into changing to their business tariff by Martin Newbury (who I believe has now left the company!). The next day, I tried to exercise my 'cooling off' period and cancel - they said that O2 did not do cooling off periods. This is untrue - I have since tried to call them 33 times, sent 4 emails, and even completed the 'contact us' form on their website - no response at all.
I even went to the address quoted on their website..from what I can see, there is no sign of this business at that address.
I have reported them to Companies House, who have stated they will investigate this
