"Worst experience DO NOT shop this site"

Worst outdoor equipment shopping experience. I ordered a pole and a headlamp. They didn’t ship an entire week then refund it without any notice and apology. Worst part is they rather refund they deduct same amount if money from my bank account AGAIN!!! Try to communicate with them still. O reply yet.

"Refused to replace faulty item"

Rock + Run refused to replace la sportiva shoes on which the sole came apart after only 4 months. They claimed excessive wear, which is unacceptable for a premium brand and premium priced item after only 4 months of normal use. I paid a premium for an item i would expect to last, terrible customer service

"They need to sort out their returns…"

They need to sort out their returns service. I received a faulty pair of very expensive climbing shoes (£131). Rang to ask what I should do. No apology was offered for hassle and fault. Instead told to take photos and wait for 'warranty claim'. When you are in the business of selling expensive climbing shoes, your returns policy needs to be seamless - like your competitors' are - and when your customer pays a lot of money for an expensive, faulty product, you need to show a bit of understanding. I'm now paying to send them back and will not be shopping here again.

Great prices on my BD HF Hybrid 16cm quickdraws and bargainous DMM Shadow HMS Screwgates. All dispatched same day and here in 2 days (Scottish Highlands). All in time for a weekend climb. What more could you ask for?

"We both got really good advice"

We both got really good advice. The man brought out 30 pairs of climbing shoes and we got the ones that fitted best. He also gave 2 free t shirts, finger tape and a chalk bag for free.

"Bad Customer Service and Management"

My order was mixed up with someone else’s, I had ordered climbing shoes and opened my delivery to a totally different brand, size, and gender of shoes. When calling, there was no apology from Callum, just a casual statement that this kind of thing can often happen, which I find hard to believe from a business that deems itself to be reputable and operating for decades.

On requesting a refund immediately, I was told to wait until the shoes in my possession are sent to their rightful owner (I am now responsible for sending these) and then await my original order to make its way from the unknown recipient back to the store. I find this completely unacceptable and the service I have received has been very passive and not worthy of any future custom.

Very dissatisfied with my whole experience with this store.
