"Not custom - need to cut pelmet, insurance a con "
Ordered blinds which came with a pelmet, gave all the correct measurements expecting a customised product. Took out insurance in case they didn’t fit. Received a pelmet with one straight edge and one curved edge, was told to cut it myself and if I wanted to return blinds under the measurement insurance I would have to pay for the return at my own cost and in original packaging (ie I must not have installed them). Obviously the insurance is a con and why anyone would order diy cutting your own pelmet is a mystery - avoid unless you are able to use a hacksaw to cut plastic!!

Next day dispatch means 10 day delivery - very misleading. The blinds were the wrong size, they offered me a generic 10% off £200 future order, anyone can use these but they called it a gesture of good will.

The blinds I ordered I couldn't fault in any way it was just the delivery,I had to go out during time specified but left a note on front door asking for the items to be left with specified neighbour or in blue bin,got home to find a card through door stating couldn't deliver parcel!I then had to take the following day off work to receive the parcel,

I ordered a full set of blinds for my new home and had a few issues due to the quirks of the property (wonky walls and all that). Even though I hadn’t added the MeasureSafe option to my order, Claire at BlindsbyPost went above and beyond to help. She worked with me to sort new sizes, arranged collection and trimming of the original blinds, and kept me updated every step of the way.
There were a couple of hiccups with delivery and courier collection (mostly down to being in a new build), but Claire was on it—always friendly, fast to reply, and genuinely helpful.
The blinds themselves look great, and the whole experience felt personal and well-supported. You don’t often get this level of service these days.
