I ordered a custom heroin racer. It's the most beautiful helmet I've ever seen. I got the size insurance and had to exercise that option for a larger size. It was a very easy process and there was lots of communication.

Visor turned up with one snap not being able to move freely.
Had to go out my way to a DHL drop off to send it back.
For £52 I would expect abit better quality control.

"Hedon products and team are GREAT!"

I purchased a Hedon Hedonist open face helmet; I have been impressed by the quality and design! For refined comfort, I ordered a smaller size cheek pad; thankfully the Hedon team caught that I had ordered an incompatible set, so they helped me correct the order and adjusted the price accordingly. Overall, I have been thoroughly impressed with both the products and customer service! It's GREAT to see a smaller business punching above its weight in a crowded market place. Well deserved success, due to both product and customer service! Highly recommend!!

"Very unsatisfactory experience overall"

Very unsatisfactory experience overall. The helmet was good and very nice, so no complaints there. After putting on the helmet I realised it was a little small on the chin area as the chin piece would touch my chin if pushed in with my thumb. So it rendered the full face useless in a headon crash.

I contacted Hedon and they offered an upgrade, however what with postage and the extra price of an upgrade, it was out of my budget. I then asked about a refund and I found out that due to me removing the blue anti scratch visor sticker (which you should remove so you can use the visor) I'd only get 50% of my refund.

Please keep in mind I had this helmet for only 2 weeks and had worn it twice for about a minute, in my bedroom. It was in the condition it was when leaving the factory, no marks at all. And yet for removing a sticker (which they'll only reapply before reselling) I now lose 50%.

Out of the €710 (that includes postage) I paid, I'd only be getting back €352.47 while they get to sell the helmet again at full price.

This feels very scammy considering the circumstances. I also found out after that you can get the same style helmets with higher safety ratings for almost half the price (BMW sells these for example). In other words HEDON are only scamming people and if you have an issue, you can say goodbye to your money as almost everyone removes the sticker on receipt of the helmet.

1 star, will not be recommending this company to anyone.
