This store has a wide choice of quality furniture. The sales personnel are friendly and very helpful, but do not hassle the customer.
We dealt with Susan who, once aware of our requirements, went to great lengths to point out the pros and cons of the various sofas. Her assistance was invaluable and she ensured that we benefited from the best deal on the one that we chose.
The day after we placed the order we decided to revisit the store to check that we had made the right choice of covering. We discovered that there was a better match and dealt with Tom who, again, was very helpful ensuring that the order was changed.
Overall, a very good experience.

Firstly, the shop is easy to find and parking is no problem. Inside there is a wealth of choice. The assistant who helped us couldn't have been better. She listened carefully to what we wanted & needed, and showed us a variety of possible armchairs to fit our bill. She left us time to try out the chairs and gave us clear information. She had what feels like the right balance between professionalism and friendliness. We felt no pressure to make a purchase, and when we did decide to purchase, she helped us with all the details. An excellent buying experience.

I discovered this for myself today when the team fixed my husband’s Stressless chair while we waited in Angel’s cafe with an excellent cup of coffee and some pastries. Everything about our experience exceeded our expectations, in particular the brilliant service and helpful cheery manner of all the staff. Thank you!

My new sofa was delivered by Simon and Scott and it was a very positive experience. I felt very at ease as they were very friendly and were happy to place my furniture wherever needed. Will definitely be returning to John Doe for future purchases.

"Perfect service"

I bought my sofa from John Doe a few years ago. The delivery team managed to squeeze it into a small room. Recently, I needed to move it into another room but couldn't do it, even after taking my doors off. I called John Doe, spoke with Susan, and explained the situation, asking if they could send some guys out to help move it. Within the hour, Susan called back offering a date.

Today, Simon and Scott arrived at 9 am and moved my sofa. They needed to remove one of the arms, which I didn't realize had been done when the sofa was originally put in the room, but nothing was a problem for them. They put the feet back on the sofa and even offered to rehang my doors and put my light shades back. I cannot thank them enough for their absolutely perfect service!

After moving to a New Build Bungalow we had trouble with the LVT flooring, We Spoke with David in the flooring department for Advice who was very knowledgeable & helpful. After consultation with our builder, it was agreed that John Doe would lift, grind screed & replace LVT flooring throughout.
The flooring boys done a great & very professional job, worked cleanly.
But can't thank David enough helping us through a Stressful time.

"We experienced a first class service…"

We experienced a first class service from the first time we walked into the showroom to delivery of all our items. We were kept updated at all stages. The
showroom staff were very helpful and knowledgable about the products we purchased. The two young lads that fitted our carpet carried out an excellent service. They even had their own vacuum to clean up before they left. The furniture was delivered by Scott and Simon who again were perfectionists taking great care with our new items and removed all packaging and took it away with them. Well done all not forgetting the staff in the cafe who are also outstanding.
