Thanks to Ric and Em for a superb session which was both informative and entertaining. We had great feedback from the people who attended who all enjoyed the evening but also found it gave them confidence in knowing how to react in an emergency situation

"Excellent presentation by Cookson First Aidtrainer"

Our trainer, Rick, gave an excellent demonstration of all aspects of first aid when confronted with an incident. We were led step by step through scenarios where the patient was conscious, and where he/she was not. The information Rick gave on liaison with Emergency Services and the use of a defibrillator were particularly helpful. Rick allowed lots of time for students to ask questions and practice the techniques he taught. A thoroughly useful afternoon.

I came to one of these First Aid sessions at the forum today with my three children. Wow, just wow we all learnt so much and he really got the kids involved in the questions. The session was amazing.

Hi I really enjoyed both short sessions today Rick is a very knowledgeable person who delivers the course very well & professionally. I feel any form of first aid is a bonus as you never know when it will be required.I hope they manage to spread the good work to many many people thankyou I hope to attend others courses that are available .Thanks Rick.

Rick put us all at ease with his charm and humour, also he shared his knowledge in a way we could take in easily. Explain Demonstrate and Imitate coupled with a willingness to share without making anyone uncomfortable. It's good that Cookson First Aid are running these courses as they are required on a regular basis for people new and old to learn

Took the time to go through all the possible scenarios if the worst was to happen. I feel that after the course I knew how the help others if in that position.

We had a lovely visit from Cookson First Aid. Ric and Emily were excellent trainers. They worked with the girls in a fun, interactive and engaging way. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the session and went away with new skills. The delivery of the session was of the highest quality. I would definitely recommend the course and the trainers that this amazing charity offer for free.

What a brilliant sessions for these students doing doing work experience! Ric was amazing and demonstrated great life saving skills to the next generation! Could not recommend this enough! OH and it's FREEEEEE!!!
