I booked a tyre fitting through RAC who then give details of local garages and available dates/times. I got a date for the next day and it was quick and easy.

Let down by first fitter,but a new appointment at a different company was made by RAC tyres , at just tyres Lewes who were brilliant I would highly recommend RAC tyres the tyres were great value.The only reason it's not five star's was having to rebook the fitting.

Absolutely disgusting treatment. AVOID!

Edit: Eventually refunded by customer service, who for some reason told me I should have read the T&Cs at my local ASDA. Not sure how that's relevant, I'm buying tyres from the RAC, not my shopping! They claimed it wasn't possible to meet my order date - why have it listed on the website if it's not possible to actually provide the service? Total joke from start to finish!

I bought for new tyres for my sons car from RAC as one of his old ones was cracked. I let him drive a short distance to the garage as I booked the fitting at 5pm Saturday 15th Feb. When he arrived he said the tyres hadn't arrived and therefore we had to buy different and more expensive tyres. I have no idea if this is a scam or if RAC are particularly unreliable but be warned not to use this service if you really need tyres fitted - I will try and reclaim the money back from RAC as we had to get new tyres fitted to make the car safe.

Other sites are a little cheaper, but had poor reviews. Went with RAC as a trusted brand, and as expected they provided a good service. Car doesn't have spare or space saver, just had the foam nonsense, which was out of data and remained a liquid when used. Had to use a mobile service, with RAC able to provide a fitting by Buzzy Bee Ltd (Mobile) within 2 days. No complaints here and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
