Used RAC twice in the last 6 months and always found the best price for the tyres I needed. However I’d advise confirming the fitting time directly with the chosen centre as the first time they couldn’t actually fit my vehicle in their workshop (7 metre long motorhome) and I had to change centres and the second time they couldn’t actually fit the tyres at my chosen time as they already had bookings in their diary. I would however use the RAC again due to their lower prices and would recommend this and on both occasions the customer service I’ve had from the fitting centre has been really good.

I ordered a tyre through RAC Tyres, to be fitted by Hyde Auto Centre. I also added front wheel alignment at cost of £36.25 to the cost although I was unsure if the excess wear to the tyre was due to mis-alignment.
On arrival at Hyde Auto Centre, a chap called Hedy checked my tyre & confirmed it wasn't due to mis-alignment & that actually I had forgotten that the other front tyre was replaced last year when the car was taken away for repair. Hedy was very understanding & advised me to contact RAC Tyres to request refund for this, when RAC Tyres contacts him he will explain and reconfirm the alignment wasn't necessary. I received confirmation soon after from RAC Tyres that they would refund the £36.25, which they did. I am extremely pleased with both customer service I received from Hedy at the Garage & Will at RAC Tyres. Thank You.

Great price Great tyres stoped my BMW tram lining at speed.The fitting garage did a great job. I messed up on the fitting date and turned up before the tyres had arrived. I had to go away, but they called me a day later when they arrived and they squeezed me in the following day.
