Absolutely Disgraceful Service from RAC – Never Again!

This was my first time using RAC, and it has been a deeply disappointing experience from start to finish.

1. Delay in Tyre Delivery - The tyre I ordered did not arrive on time, forcing me to make a second trip to the fitter—an unnecessary inconvenience that could have been avoided with proper organisation.

2. Damage to Alloy Wheel - The fitter scratched my alloy wheel during the process. When I returned to address the issue, they flat-out denied responsibility despite the visible damage.

3. RAC's Appalling Customer Service - I raised the issue with RAC, providing clear photo evidence showing the damage before and after the fitting. Instead of taking responsibility, RAC dismissed my concerns and told me to contact the fitter again—who had already denied any wrongdoing. This is both ridiculous and irresponsible. I paid RAC directly for the service, not the fitter, so RAC should be the first point of accountability.

This entire experience has been absolutely disgraceful. RAC's inability to handle basic customer complaints, coupled with their refusal to stand by the service they facilitated, speaks volumes about their lack of professionalism.

I will never use RAC again and strongly advise others to think twice before trusting them with their vehicles.

It's the second time I've used RAC for a mobile tyre fitting requirement and both times have been top notch. Easy to order and arrange, and everything worked out as planned and requested. The first time, a mobile tyre fitter came out to my work, and the second, to my daughters and both were perfect. Can't fault the service so far.

car off at correct time, the fitters were excellent and pleasant sat down waited about 15 minutes 2 tyres fitted and balanced, first class service.

Used these jokers to get 2 tyres fitted and their recommended tyre fitter scratched both of my wheels. When I raised this with RAC Tyres (with photographic evidence) they denied any responsibility and told me to take it back to their fitter. The fitter also denied responsibility. RAC Tyres still refused to give me a refund or pay for the wheels to be repaired. Just don't use RAC Tyres, they cannot be trusted.
