"Hassle but eventually resolved"
Item ordered did not fit my phone. Return agreed by email. Sent to the address they asked me to and today I have received it back and marked as "refused" by royal mail. I had to pay to return so this is a complete waste of my time and money. I would suggest avoiding buying anything from them. I eagerly await the generic response to negative reviews which says "sorry, we'll try and learn from this" while seemingly doing nothing to actually deal with the problem highlighted. 22% of reviewers leaving a 1 star review is quite something!
Update: despite the generic response that doesn't indicate any resolution, they have responded to my email and refunded the cost of the case and the original postage. I have therefore amended my rating. This was still a nuisance but it has been resolved and for this customer service effort I am grateful

Absolutely LOVE your protective cases. I won't use anything else to protect my phone. Drop after drop, my phone comes up the winner. I refuse to by my kids a new phone unless they use one of Tech21's cases. And now my friend has become a believer!

First, I was sent the wrong case by your company. Second, I had to pay the required postage to return the case that was sent in error...$7.35 Third, I was only reimbursed for the cost of the case...$39.99. Fourth, I consider that poor customer service. I am disappointed that your firm didn't even want to absorb the additional $4.95 charge that you caused by shipping the wrong case. It's not the money, it's the principle.
Fourth, the case wasn't well made. I purchased it on-line because I couln't locate a local retailer who sold it. Since I had purchased 7- Tech-21 phone cases for my Samsung Galaxy s7Edge over the last 10 years, I thought I would be getting a quality case. I forgot that those cases were purchased from Best Buy a local retailer.
Finally, I am thankful that this lesson only cost me $12.30...$7.35 postage to return the case...and$4.95 that I lost when I ordered it.

"They do not read your email thoroughly before responding"
Long time customer reaching out for any discount for another purchase and specifically stating what it was I was interested in purchasing, even mentioning that I did not even receive the 10% offer when first arriving on website because it just did not send it to me for some reason. They sent back an email stating whatever was available on the site was all there was to offer knowing there was not any other offer for the product I wanted. I had received a discount code directly from a representative last year for 15% off I never used. After their cold, impersonal, non friendly response I looked through old Tech21 emails for the 15% discount code. All I did was change the year on the code and it worked. I got my 15%, but after going through wasting my time and get bad feelings. If I did not believe their phone cases were the best protection for my phone, I do not believe I would do business with them again. Not a great attitude for a returning customer. Profits seem to matter most with this organization.
