"Great service from CR Smith"

We chose CR Smith because we wanted good quality and good service....they surpassed all our expectations!
In all communication with the office, the staff were polite, respectful and very helpful throughout the process.
The sales rep Graeme, was very helpful, never pushy and explained everything to us like time frames, costings etc.
The joiners/fitters Ryan and Dylan were young, which worried me initially. However, they worked hard, were extremely professional and refitted our crumbling bay window and upstairs window perfectly! They also cleaned up every trace of them having been there.
Several times during the fitting we received calls and visits from various others to ensure the work being carried out was to our satisfaction. We were honestly surprised at the amount of spot checking, but it reassured us that we had made the right choice in CR Smith.
We are yet to have the finishing touches done by the painter but if this has been the standard so far, I don't anticipate any issues.
So at this stage, I would highly recommend CR Smith, the extra cost is definitely worth the first class service!

Good product, good installation, attention to detail. Friendly and helpful staff. Not the cheapest but price reflects quality of product and installation. 10 year warranty definitely worth having.

My Mum got her new windows two weeks ago. She finds it difficult to get about and was worried there would be mess. Chris and Liam were brilliant, they work on the basis that this could be they're Grandmother. There was no mess as such you have to expect a bit of a polish round after but of my goodness the job was great and they cleaned up after themselves put all the furniture back which they don't have to do and put her curtains up for her privacy and above all of this good job they were so friendly from a daughter who normally has to pick up the pieces you made my job also easy thank you so much

Stevie rang to give me a time of arrival and explained what he was doing when adjusting the door. He Supplied a new set of handles and showed the best sequence to shut and lock the door.

We moved into our new house in Banff, Scotland on 23rd December 2024 having lived in Canada for the previous 15 years. We quickly realised that our original windows were at the end of their functional life. In the New Year we decided to investigate how much it would cost to replace them all and the 3 doors. Following a recommendation from a close friend, we asked CR Smith for a quote for replacing all of them.

Firstly, salesman Peter, was fantastic. He explained the benefits of CR Smith double glazing compared to other companies. Unlike the preconceptions of double glazing sales personnel, Peter was informative but not pushy. We wanted all of our windows replaced, including our sun room. Peter had some great ideas as to what would be the best style choice for some of our windows, which we would not have thought of. Although we asked for time to consider the purchase, my husband and I had decided to place the order that evening after Peter left. The price was totally acceptable as we had already seen the quality of the windows and doors at our friend’s house.

We were given an installation date for the end of March but CR Smith completed the order and installed them on 17th March. The fitters were very friendly and respectful. They arrived on time and worked very hard all day and even cleaned up after themselves each day. They installed all of our windows in four days.

I do not normally recommend companies to friends and family unless I am totally satisfied with them. I have a reputation of being hard to please. I expect excellent quality and service and I got this with CR Smith and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I are delighted with our new windows and doors and the house looks fantastic. Peter’s design choices have made a real difference to some of our rooms. Do not hesitate to use CR Smith if you are looking to install new windows and doors.

We couldn't fault Dylan and Matthew. They were here for three days. Here at 8.00 on the dot and took out and put in three windows each day and left approx 2.00.
They worked non stop not even stopping when we took them tea/coffee.
Dylan kept us informed about what was happening and showed us how the windows worked.
They were efficient, hard working and tidied up each day. They put down "dust sheets" each day.
There was no mess. We can't speak highly enough of them. The painter came on the Thursday and he too was here on the dot at 8.00am and got on with the work. The roughcaster too came and got on with the work.
