From start to finish the work was done very professionally Lee the salesman talked us through everything phil the surveyor was so helpful getting our windows exactly as we wanted and got us booked in really quickly the day of installation Ivan and paddy arrived early all windows done in a day great lads and brilliant job done

Everything was handled in a smooth and efficient way from ordering through to installation. The guys who fitted our door and window were very professional and kept our living spaces clean throughout the fitting. The Decorator that attended was also extremely efficient, clean and tidy. Once complete we were both very happy.

"Disappointing and stressful "
£12,000 for new solar roof on an older Cr Smith conservatory. The initial construction of the conservatory had issues however were rectified at the time after contacting the now chairman.
Decided to give the company a second chance for the new roof, however issues were evident immediately after installation and, following inspection by the manufacturer were confirmed as sealant staining on the glass during installation which had degraded the self cleaning coat. While most panels were affected, agreed the replacement of four which were worse.
Three were then replaced initially however the installation was ‘heavy handed’ with denting on strut facias and degrading of plastic coating on bottom of panels, exposing some of the metal due to excessive use of mallet or hammer. The fourth now replaced but still some marks which won’t come off on the outside glass of two of the replaced panels, and believe some are still sealant related.
Despite the above the staff at CR Smith have been friendly and made some effort to resolve the problems, particularly Gerard O’Grady. However, the stress this has caused the last six months and low confidence in work practices to fully remedy the issues, has made us decide to ‘bite the bullet’, leave things as they are now and pray that no further issues develop in the future.

CR Smith have fitted new windows, doors, and patio doors for me. All are excellent and I found their workmen very competent, helpful, and friendly. They did a good job and cleaned up afterwards. Any damage to plaster in the walls was repaired promptly at no extra cost.

There were 5 jobs here , turned up as predicted , very clean, neat and did the 5 jobs quickly and efficiently, and explained everything explicitly. The 2 guys (Wayne and Kieran) were very polite and respectful of our property .

"Customer service lacking "
My name is Tina Kidd. This is the second time I have used CR Smith. The first time I had no complaints when I had a new front door and glass fitted. This time I ordered 5 new windows. What I would like to stress is that the team of joiners who fitted the windows were excellent - prompt, considerate, clean and tidied up after. Hence the 3 stars. It’s the customer service aspect I have a difficulty with. After CR Smith received payment, I felt no longer a priority. I was cancelled at short notice on 2 occasions for follow up painting. On the second occasion, CR Smith tried to schedule the painting in a month. 6-8 weeks after installation. There have now been 4 attempts to get the correct screws fitted for 2 windows. This still remains outstanding. The letterbox has already been replaced once and requires to be replaced again due to constant scratching from the mechanism in the centre of the letterbox. Yesterday I was supposed to be visited by the Area Manager who did not attend due to being “down south”. A colleague was sent in his place who was pleasant but knew nothing of the difficulties to assist. Everytime I speak to customer services, I feel I have to tell them what has happened with my experience. My experience has been with the Aberdeen customer service office.

"Excellent Service."
From start to finish, the whole process was faultless. We have been "well looked after" by Steve in the sales team, office team and the fitters Shane and Kian. The guys arrived prompt, worked quickly and efficiently and completed the job in around 5 hours, cleaning up after themselves, thank you. We were always kept up to date with everything and Steve and the office staff checked in regularly. Thank you all for an excellent service.
