"Absolutely horrific company"

Absolutely horrific company. They have taken £180 from my bank and have now tried to take another £240 for the same policy.
Called to cancel and was told the £240 was for a new policy that was explained to me, this is utter rubbish.
Thankfully my bank was on the ball and refused the £240 payment but I am still waiting on the £180 refund which will take 14days to go back in my bank account but only took them not even 5 minutes to take the money.
Would NOT recommend this company at all. Everyone STAY CLEAR.

"Appalling - SCAM"

Appalling. Agreed 3 year cover for washing machine and paid in Feb 2024. They then took a further£240 without my permission later on in February, which I missed at the time. They then tried to take a further £240 in April which resulted in my cancelling my debit card. I am now awaiting my refund after raising a complaint yesterday. No response from them yet.

Update is 2/12/24 - still no response from SureCover, I have given up chasing them over summer due to other commitments but will be escalating with them again and also informing bank and fraud organisations. They have just called me trying to sell more products and I politely informed them to respond to my complaint. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I received phone call today asking if my appliances still in working order I said yes I also said your not taking any money from me are you the man replied no your covered till 2027 got home from work checked bank they had taken £240 same thing happened last month to be precise they have taken £1330 out of my account in 18 months I managed to get £240 pound back as they told me I was covered for a fridge freezer I have never owned a fridge freezer I will be contacting consumer rights over next couple of days deal with this company at your peril I started with £80 pound a year for washing machine none of the other payments have been taken with my permission in my book that’s theft

A scamming company who prey on the vulnerable and elderly! My father has had his life savings taken due to their errors and no one will respond to you or speak to you via phone or email! Don’t give them your details hang up on them straight away!!!

"This company is a scam"

This company is a scam, they ring you up out of the blue and tell you your cover is about to expire on your washing machine cooker etc not once did they tell you who they are? They pretend to be the company who you bought your appliance from? They don’t send you any paperwork out or email you just take your money when you do eventually receive your paperwork after three or four months and you realise who they are, they won’t let you cancel your cover as they say you’ve passed the expiry time. Do not deal with this company.

This company is a bunch of scam artists they keep your card details which is not legal I believe and then take money out of your account without your permission and when you complain they ignore you and I am still waiting for the money to be returned. I had a repair booked and then it was cancelled and it has taken me all day to try and sort it out. I would stay well clear of these people as I truly believe they are scammers. I would have given them a zero if i were able to. I too will write a bad review each day as they have scammed an old man who is ill out of his money which he can not afford and the manager can’t even be bothered to talk to you so watch out people 😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

"Dubious and high pressure sales techniques"

A company sales person rang me in March to tell me my insurance policy on my fridge freezer was due for renewal. If he said which company he was from, I don't remember but I assumed (wrongly) that he was from Domestic and General who do hold the current policies for my appliances. He did say the number to contact for repairs had changed!
The sales rep then said an annual policy would be cheaper and after some persuasion I agreed to that. I should not have, I should have heeded my gut feeling that something wasn't quite right. My policy with D& G is £4.02 per month. Surecover took £198 and to date there has been no policy document from them or policy number.
If this is not a scam then it's certainly, in my opinion, high pressure and dubious selling practice. Will I get any money back from this company having sold me a policy I don't need, I doubt it.
The purpose of this review whilst embarrassing for me is to warn others to be very wary of this company. Yes, I was an idiot but I've learnt from my mistake, I won't be caught again. Hopefully others will see this review and won't make the same mistake I did, give this company a wide berth.

"I appear to be ghosted by Sure Group"

I appear to be ghosted by Sure Cover Group. I contacted them a couple of weeks ago and was told my money (£198) would be refunded to me and I’m still waiting. I’ve tried calling the number given but the screen goes blank. They seem to be crooks. I would NOT use them.

"AVOID - SCAMMERS "

I will be daily putting a bad review until this scamming company give me my money back or have the balls for their CEO or Manager to call me back as agreed. I am still not had my money back . I called again today and have been told a different story. I was promised a call back at 17.30 by manager Ross as the CEO Liam Scott was not available today. I asked what time they closed and was told 18.00 and surprise surprise no call. I rung at 17.40 and office is closed, shock horror. I have repotted this company to Action Fraud and will continue to take this matter further. I suggest to anyone to avoid this company and if you have experienced same to report thru Action Fraud or similar.

Every person you speak to completely lie and clearly have a script bad whatever they promise never happens. Over a month now trying to get my money back from this scamming Company.
